@kevin-eleven saidYeah, whatever 😛
Time out.
"People of color" is a rather diverse, falsely agglomerated demographic, similar to LGBTQIA+MOUSE.

@kevin-eleven saidOh yeah, a regular stooge.
You're just a tool of that autocratic harridan Pelosi, aren't you? 😉
@jimm619 saidJimm, if these laws are good at stopping the fraudulent votes, you have to expect a slight dip in the totals.
What a phony talking point, EARL;
Wonder what it WOULD HAVE BEEN
had new, restrictive laws not been put in place,
Now, you make the claim that my talking point is a bit of a loss leader, but what evidence do you have
that shows demonstrably that legal *democrat* voters are being shut out of the voting process?
But the real bottom line is, Jimm, if the majority of people in America want Voter ID laws, then damn it, *give it to them*,
in the name of DEMOCRACY
@kevin-eleven saidI hear ya. Where I'm from, you have to present an ID to take a book out of the library,
Completely in favor of that nationwide.
If someone is incapable of obtaining a valid photo ID, they shouldn't be voting.
I live in a Blue (majority Democrat) county, and we have to present a valid photo ID at the polls.
yet I don't hear the democrats screaming "READER SUPPRESSION", the phony bastiges
@kevin-eleven saidY'all get onboard, it is people of culture. Guess I have to drag y'all, kicking and screaming.
Time out.
"People of color" is a rather diverse, falsely agglomerated demographic, similar to LGBTQIA+MOUSE.
@techsouth saidIn a similar thread here not long ago, I suggested that for these alleged democrat voters being pushed aside and taken out of the election process, the Feds *give* them - free of charge, a voter ID.
And we haven't seen a single "human interest story" of a person incapable of figuring out how to get an ID in order to vote. If such a person existed, why not put them on TV?
Humor us.
The dems know this is an easy way out of the dilemma that they claim, but that is not their real dilemma and they know it.
If the Repubs take the Congress at the midterms, I'd love to see them get federal elections protected with voter ID

@averagejoe1 said@Sonhouse is not answering you because he knows that he can't back up that ludicrous charge.
Sorry to interrupt everyone, has anybody seen a response from Sonhouse, who is saying there is voter suppression, but not telling us specifics about the suppression.? I've asked him a few times, I know he is in town.
As my wise old Uncle Clem used to say, "Facts is facts and bullchips is bullchips".

@earl-of-trumps saidWhy, Sonhouse, you ole hound dog, you gonna take that lyin down!?!? Show them what you are made of...!!

@earl-of-trumps saidThe laws are more restrictive, ergo less ballots cast.
Jimm, if these laws are good at stopping the fraudulent votes, you have to expect a slight dip in the totals.
Now, you make the claim that my talking point is a bit of a loss leader, but what evidence do you have
that shows demonstrably that legal *democrat* voters are being shut out of the voting process?

in the name of DEMOCRACY
EXAMPLEL Less days polls are open, or
Fewer mail drop-off boxes....
C'mon, it ain't rocket science, less access, less ballots cast.
The complaint of Democrats is that the NEW REGULATIONS
affect Democrats voters more.
Example;
The state of TEXAS WILL NOT HONOR STUDENT I.D's,
as they a;ways have in the past.........hmmmm
STUDENTS TEND TO VOTE DEMOCRATIC
I think it was Georgia, they were trying to block SUNDAY VOTING,
Sunday is traditionally a big turnout day for Black folks......
These folks would come directly from Sunday Services to the poll.
It was practically an institution in The Black Churches, ''Souls to the polls.''
The reason is pretty obvious, you know, better than I,
Black voters are overwhelming Democratic.
The lines were very long, being Democrats, we waited 'till the last minute.
The NEW LAW says it's AGAINST THE LAW
to bring, anyone in line a refreshment, no water, no snacks?.
.C'mon,man, you know, and I know
Ever notice how poor folks, wait in more lines...
Anyway, I'm preaching to the choir, you know what's happening and,
to be honest Earl, I've not many men, as you, who, after careful
consideration of, THE FACTS, can seem to stand against their own best interests.

@jj-adams said"Said the white guy."
This is the post you responded to, and it is simply not true;
"That only does any good if you make it easy and free to vote. In the case of the USA, where voting is often made as hard and as expensive as possible in poor gerrymanders, and easy and cheap in rich ones, it would only be yet another tax on poverty. with another."
The above statement is total and complete BS.
