affected; no one has an advantage if everyone is treated equally. Not honoring an
ID that isn't part of the state's system seems fair why would that be an issue? Having
restrictions on Sundays stops everyone from voting on Sundays; how is that unfair
to some? Do you think white churches are also not affected? How is it that only
black churches seem to be a concern to you when all churches are affected the
same way? The rules are the rules; if you want to vote early or late is not determined
by one's skin color. I'm not sure about the no refreshment, water, or snack rule; the
logic behind that escapes me, but that doesn't mean that there isn't one. Is this it?
Is that the total of your complaints? Seriously, what do you think affects Democrats
and not Republicans equally?

@EoT: Jimm, that does NOT mean fewer ballots cast, just less time to do it in. and *more importantly*, since when is this measure punishing Democrats more than Republicans???
@jimm619 says -

STUDENTS TEND TO VOTE DEMOCRATIC

@EoT: That is to establish proper residency, no doubt, as in, no out of state voters for state elections. But whatever their aim, the measure certainly does NOT stop legal residents from voting.
Jimm, Jimm, Jimm. I've had enough for this session. Maybe more later, if you think I must.

It's been a long tradition of
Black people voting on Sunday, inspired by their pastor.
Don't play the fool, Republicans have, let it slip several times,
if they suppress the vote, they increase their chance of winning.
Romney was secretly recorded, saying as much, during his Pres campaign.
My question is, why new restrictive laws when nothing was broken?
You know, I know and Romney even said it.
@jimm619 saidJust a simple question here, Jimm,,,

The way you present this aspect of your argument, you would think that *all* African Americans are being deprived of this voting on Sunday that they once did. But what were the actual number of locales where this occurred, one...? two...? Give us a hint. but it surely does not sound like all African Americans are being inconvenienced. Not to me. Also, are there any white people that likewise had the tradition of voting on Sunday? Lotta cry-babying going on here,
Either way, it certainly does not stop *anyone* from voting.

the only thing that matters here; any rule/law/statute that comes into play is across
the board for absolutely everyone equally. You have failed to justify your claims!

Have it your way, doesn't matter anyway, does it?
everyone understands what this 'voter suppression' is about.
@Average
NOBODY is denying YOUR right to vote and you know that full well. It is MINORITIES who mostly vote democrat who are targeted by zombie repubs. But you are not interested in ANY of their plights so just go back to your beer and pizza and adoring your 401K.
@KellyJay
OF COURSE you would not know about voter suppression because it doesn't effect YOU, it REALLY effects minorities like large cities being deprived of voting booths, down to one place to vote for a town of 200 thousand but you would NEVER even TRY to research that kind of thing because it is outside your experience, being a nice white man.

them, if there are rules that only apply to everyone, not like me, produce them.
You cry foul without reason! Accusing people of suppression and cannot show
the law and code that does it that doesn't affect everyone equally means what
you are accusing people of is just an opinion without fact. If there is a privilege
among us due to the passed laws, show the law, the line that makes it that way;
otherwise, the same laws apply everyone!
If you have to bring what you think of my race into this to make a point, then
it is your pathetic racism that is on display, not mine.
@kellyjay saidA little touchy about race, are ya'?

I said nothing about race that wasn't incidental to
voter suppression......
So the prestigious Brennan Center is wrong and kellyjay is correct, huh?

@capacrapa saidThat's bogus reasoning...
Georgia broke records for voter turnout and yall still going on about voter suppression 🤣
WHAT WOULD THE AMOUNT OF VOTERS be
had there been no NEW SUPPRESSIVE LAWS?
