@chesstachio saidThe democratic party is not radical, hardly leftist and certainly not communist.
Trump again.
The rich and powerful won’t let these radical leftists win and move towards communism.
Also...destroying cities and history will put the undecideds against the left and they will quietly vote for Trump.
Last but not least...if Biden wins nothing changes and 2024 goes back to the Republicans.
Or as that speaker suggested on the first day of the RNC: inclined to build a communist utopia (man obviously having some difficulty understanding the definition of utopia).
On a side note... who the hell was that Kimberly Gargoyle or whatever her name is?
Did you hear her shrieking?
Sounded like a constipated Dalek at Nuremberg... completely bizarre.
@shavixmir saidShe holds the critically important position of being Donald Trump Jr's girlfriend.

@shavixmir saidThis is the FIRST time ole Average Joe has ever used the thumbs thing down at the top right of the Post! I knew there would be an appropriate time. Get lost Shav. You a foreigner, that gives EIGHTY TWO MILLION POUNDS A YEAR to your little fairy book queen in her carriage going down the street, with the really screwed up family? What would King Edward think? Could you maybe buy bread for your poor UK children with 82 M pounds? Jesus. Who are you people.

@averagejoe1 saidI most certainly don’t give 82 million pounds a year to anyone. I don’t have that kind of cash.

I know you think I’m some sort of communist billionaire... but alas...
Also, why would I be giving the Dutch queen pounds? Or do you mean Euros?
What the hell are you on about. Anyhoo... you’re not Scottish, so you are the foreigner.
Also... Kimberly... sweet Jesus man.. my comments on her is what finally pushes you over the edge to... to... to GIVE ME A THUMBS DOWN... how will I ever cope?
Go and hump your couch, take some valium, learn what communism is and chill out a bit.
A thumbs down from you... pffff... I’ll nver sleep again...

Here are my predictions:
1. If it’s a free, fair, transparent election and all valid ballots are counted, Trump will take a drubbing in the popular vote. Why? Because Trump is unfit for public office, does not understand public service or how to manage social crises, and more voters than not are fed up with his antics and heavy-handed authoritarianism.
2. If the election is manipulated, Trump will win the popular vote. Why? Because powerful entities want to disrupt democracy, and corrupting the election process is a sure way to do it.
3. Trump will declare himself the winner, regardless of the popular vote. Why? Because he’s a megalomaniac who cannot accept defeat.
4. If, as in 2016, the EC votes contrary to the popular vote, the general public will demand, and ultimately get, legislation to compel the EC vote to match the popular vote. Why? Because the EC is an institution which has outlived its purpose.
5. If Trump is returned to office, his presidency will become a self-fulfilling prophecy: there will be a 'deep state conspiracy' to thwart his policies. Why? Because his manner of ruling (not governing) is toxic and some Americans are prepared to stop him, if not at the polls, then by other means.
@earl-of-trumps saidThat’s probably a good thing for him.
@AverageJoe1
the middlings are beingoverwhelmed with negative news on trump as a person, not his functioningand not what he represents.
@earl-of-trumps saidWhat he represents is unbridled egotism. How he functions is by bullying people and throwing tantrums when he doesn't get what he wants. He is unable to separate his private person from the public office he temporarily occupies, he takes every rebuke to his policies as a personal affront, and that is what makes him unfit for public office. And that is why this election is not about policies, but a referendum on him.
@AverageJoe1
It's far from over but right now, I think the democrat wins. the middlings are being

@mghrn55 saidTrump haters need to remember that if he loses (still a big "if" ) Trump can still run again. A loss wouldn't mean the end of Trump, and not just because he'll fight the results of he loses
Two possible outcomes.
1 - Trump wins
2 - election is declared rigged and the result will end up in the courts.
2021 will not be a good year.
@no1marauder saidThere were no strong third party candidates last time.
with no strong third party candidates this time around, he can't possibly win with that percentage.
@moonbus saidA great array of thoughtful letters. My take on them is that all opinions are really trained on him personally, and I note there is not one comment about the 100 accomplishments that I often refer to. I think that he is hardly 'unfit' to have been able to get all that done. I find this puzzling. Is there not one positive statement abut the Trump presidency. In previous posts, not one negative statement about what went on from day one, the effort to remove him at all costs. And no comment about Biden's weak and wrong positions for 47 years. He pandered to China, for instance, based on that record.

The electoral college is never going away. It is necessary, so that all states have a say in who runs the country, and not be subject to the whims of only a few states.
I think Trump will receive over 300 electoral votes, and be re-elected. All of the middle states with exception of maybe Illinois and Colorado will go for 4 more years. II say this because of his record of leadership. He will bring out Biden's weaknesses and Biden will fold before our eyes.
Let's keep it up, but it could be more interesting if we all stipulate that you , and I, do not like his ways very much. But it takes a lot of swashbuckling to get things done like he has. Biden, he just ain't got it. Strength vs. milque toast.
@moonbus saidThe best line of the convention...Melania said you always know what he is thinking. Straightforward guy, I would say. No politics.
PS
This coming election is not about policies or issues or COVID or the wall or taxes or BLM or the economy or making/keeping America great or Biden or Biden's running mate. This election is a referendum about Trump himself, and Trump himself has made it so.
@vivify saidOnce he loses, the lawsuits will start. He will be ruined financially and dead politically as soon as he's out of office.
