You are lying again. There is no proof of Russian government interference in the election that aimed to help Trump. Crowdstrike admitted they had no evidence. This has been proven to you countless times and you reject reality for a false narrative.
Contacts between Trump campaign officials and Russians is not illegal or nefarious. Glenn Simpson, the co-founder of Fusion GPS, had dinner with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya both the day before and the day after she met with Donald Trump, Jr. at Trump Tower on June 9, 2016
Did Glenn Simpson do something wrong? He met with the same Russian.
@metal-brain saidActually it's the other way around; Fusion GPS was working on the Prevezon project for Baker Hostetler, who also employed Veselnitskaya. Apparently some of the info Fusion GPS uncovered was brought to the Trump Tower meeting by Veselnitskaya, who thought it would be useful for the Trump campaign. This information had already been handed over to the Russian Prosecutors office by her and it seems reasonable that they OKed its release for such purposes though it can't be proven. https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/apr/23/natalia-veselnitskaya-says-fusion-gps-co-founder-g/
So was Natalia Veselnitskaya, she was working for Fusion GPS.
Steele is a British former intelligence officer with the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) from 1987 until his retirement in 2009. He ran the Russia desk at MI6 headquarters in London between 2006 and 2009. In 2009, he co-founded Orbis Business Intelligence, a London-based private intelligence firm.
Is Christopher Steele a foreigner? Yes or no?
Separately, and unrelatedly, Fusion GPS had been hired to do research on Russian support for Trump (originally paid for by the right wing Washington Free Beacon https://www.politico.com/story/2017/10/27/trump-russia-washington-free-beacon-fusion-gps-244265).
@metal-brain saidYou've lied about Crowdstrike countless times. Don't bother with that phony link again, so I won't have to bother linking to Crowdstrike debunking it.

The Mueller report (which you have never read) provides overwhelming evidence of Russian government aid to the Trump campaign.
The point is why were those meetings held. We know from Trump Jr's own e-mails that he expected useful material from the Russian government at the Trump Tower meeting that would help the Trump campaign. What evidence do you have that Simpson and Veselnitskaya discussed anything improper?

That is highly suspect being the day before AND the day after, but let's set that aside for now. It isn't illegal for Glenn Simpson to do it so it isn't illegal for Trump Jr. either, right?
The Trump tower meeting was pure hype with nothing nefarious at all. She was there to lobby regarding the Magnitsky Act. She didn't have any dirt on HRC as you keep falsely claiming.
@metal-brain saidYes, I have proved it to any reasonable person, just not a biased, delusional, conspiracy nut like yourself.
You are lying again.
I have called you out on this BS of yours many times before and you never proved it. What is your source of information? I'm calling your bluff again. I have had enough of your lies.
You always accuse others of lying when you lie. You are very predictable in that way. You do it every time.
Papadopoulos was told that the Russians had thousands of HRC and DNC e-mails that could prove damaging to Hillary's campaign.
The Russians gave these e-mails to Wikileaks which released them at various points in the campaign when they thought they would be most damaging.
Mueller goes all through this, I have cited the relevant portions many times.
@no1marauder saidYou've lied about Crowdstrike countless times. You know he admitted under oath they had no evidence. His exact words were "no evidence it was actually exfiltrated". What part of "no evidence" do you not understand?

Trump lied about the purpose of the meeting; do you have to also?

And: "But the attorney [Veselnitskaya] told The Wall Street Journal that she was in regular contact with the Russian prosecutor general's office and with Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika himself, with whom she shared information about American hedge fund manager William Browder, who pushed for the passage of the sanctions law known as the Magnitsky Act. Sometimes your willful ignorance and stubborn stupidity is pathetically amusing.

You are lying again. You have no evidence the Russians gave these e-mails to Wikileaks and Wikileaks denied they came from Russia and strongly implied it was Seth Rich who leaked them from an inside job. You also have no evidence those e-mails were damaging to HRC.
I am calling your bluff. Where are the e-mails that were damaging to HRC? Give me a single example.
Here's the e-mails, moron: https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2017/07/politics/donald-trump-jr-full-emails/
"Nothing improper"?
Goldstone: "The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father.
This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump - helped along by Aras and Emin."
Donald Trump Jr.: "Thanks Rob I appreciate that. I am on the road at the moment but perhaps I just speak to Emin first. Seems we have some time and if it's what you say I love it especially later in the summer. Could we do a call first thing next week when I am back?"

There were many e-mails that turned out to be damaging to HRC's campaign; the dump right before the convention was designed to alienate Sanders' supporters. Here's a few examples: https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/damaging-emails-dnc-wikileaks-dump/story?id=40852448

Once again, there is no email that is damaging to HRC regardless of who leaked them to who.

That was not damaging to HRC, it was damaging to DWS. She was forced to resign in disgrace. I am still waiting for a single example.
@metal-brain saidTrump's promise to repeal the Magnitsky Act is what the Russians, through Veselnitskaya, wanted in return for what they thought was useful information for Trump's campaign.

Manafort's notes of the meeting start with "Bill Browder", a backer of HRC and the DNC, go on about his business dealing in Cyprus - all of which are tied to Russian government claims the Browder and an associated company, Ziff Brothers, evaded Russian taxes and then made large contributions to Democrats and the DNC. Only at the end does he note, "Russian adoption by American families" which were suspended by Russia in retaliation for the Magnitsky Act. https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/Paul%20Manafort%20June%209%20Notes%20and%20Schedules.pdf
