Probably not, but he's still poking the bear.

It crossed my mind that he is acting about of partisan interests in order to make it more difficult for Trump.

Whatever his reasons the timing seems a little odd to me, both in terms of the war generally and that he only has 2 months left in the White House.

Yes. Poking the bear is rather risky.

I note that Putin has had the Russian laws changed about when a nuclear attack is legitimate.

Good news everybody!

What Biden is doing looks like a last ditch attempt to help Ukraine get some of its land back, before trump comes along and gives everything Russia is standing on to Putin.

That does appear to be his strategy. (Give Ukraine some bargaining chips).

What Biden has done, is doing, it utterly reckless and reprehensible. He is risking billions of lives in what appears to me to be an exercise in vanity which will possibly escalate this unwinable war to beyond the Ukrainian/Russian territories.

I never thought I would hear myself say this … the sooner Trump gets hold of the missile keys the safer this world is going to be. Because this old duffer currently in the White House is risking all of our lives.

Very dangerous escalation going on there. Just read one of the BBC reports on the use of long-range missiles into Russian territory. Apparently Putin is pissed off. If you have another interesting one can you post it up?

Apparently the EU is standing behind Ukraine, and providing long-range missiles to fire over 150 miles into Russian territory. British made missiles in particular. Take a guess who Putin will be pissed off with if British Storm Shadow missiles hit one of their towns.

Our very own Reverend Starmer has subsequently announced that Europe must “double down” in support of Ukraine. But this war is unwinable.

Is what is happening here a pact with the left in Europe and the incumbent left in the US to bring about an escalation which cannot be stopped.

What the actual fuk is going on here!
Americans… is there something in your constitution which will allow Biden to remain in power if America is under attack? I am lost for words by what I’m seeing.

I’ve already said what I think is going on here; this is a bilateral attempt to escalate the war such that Trump will not be able to pull out.

I’m sorry to sound conspiratorial, but I’m afraid that’s how I see it.

And they are gambling with our lives!

If anything should be clear after all the wars since 9/11, the warmongers running the US don't give a tinker's damn about human lives.

Did you forget that in the 1994 Budapest Memorandum both the US and Russia pledged 'security assurances against the threat or use of force against Ukraine’s territory or political independence.' This is what convinced Ukraine to give up nuclear arms.

Putin is the only one who violated that agreement and destabilized the region.

If a nuclear war happens over Ukraine, the blame falls 100% on Putin. No one else. 😆

Wrong. The agreement is ancient and now worthless.

And grow up.

And 😆
