Joe Six pack refers to the average blue collar American white male that comes home after work and grabs a six pack of Budweiser or Coors or Miller or some other American piss and drinks it while watching Nascar, Wrestling, or other culturally enlightening event. Hopefully that clears this up.
As a republican (from Delaware might I add), I really feared this debate. Having met senator Biden several times, I knew of his ability to speak on his feet and to essentially BS his way through situations. Basically, he is a good politician. Palin, on the other hand, does not really have much experience in this field, so I was EXTREMELY worried.
However, Palin did not do as poorly as I had anticipated. There were several issues of which she seemed knowledgeable. However, Biden clearly won the debate, I think we all can agree on that. I understand what Palin was trying to accomplish, but her sheer lack of professionalism, her incessant use of slang, and her OBVIOUS avoidance of questions was not good. She did much better than her Couric interviews, but she still has a long way to go. I am just glad there are two more presidential debates for McCain to redeem himself.

Wardrobe includes flannel shirt for northern Joe Six pack or just a Guinea T for the redneck southern version and dungarees. Baseball cap with the Cat Diesel logo is essential for both though.

Sadly you can't get one of these. But you can get G.I. Joe. That's Joe six pack after he joins the Army and gets in shape.
Originally posted by TDR1I think Biden won the debate too -- he did a good job of masquerading as a normal, average American, instead of a politician who has sold his soul to crazy environmentalists, Big Labor, the teachers unions and trial lawyers. Don't worry though -- nobody wants Joe Biden as President, as evidenced by his many failed attempts to secure the Democratic nomination, including this year. Palin, for her part, did a credible job, contrary to all the knowledgeable pundits here at RHP and in the dinosaur media. It doesn't matter what they think because they weren't going to vote for a pro-life, conservative Christian anyway.

You know what's really funny? You Europeans had smell our stale beer farts for the last eight years!

Why? Because Democrats were out to pasture and could have been shut out of Washington forever if only W and the Congress had stuck with the brand and governed by conservative principles?

Originally posted by LundosYou're right. Hopefully our next president isn't quite as effective at alienating our allies as Bush has been. "You're either with us or against us." - is really bad foreign policy.

Europe will wall? From where?

Why? Because Democrats were out to pasture and could have been shut out of Washington forever if only W and the Congress had stuck with the brand and governed by conservative principles?
- woefully under resourced and terribly executed war in Afghanistan
- further political destablization in the middle east
- billions of dollars wasted that could have been spent on infrastructure and security IN our own country
- significant damage to our relationships with our allies which has exacerbated the situations in both Afghanistan and Iraq
Additionally, other sad results of W.:
- further polarization of our country due to his incredibly partisan approach to washington
- destablization of our justice department after clear attempts to politicize this department.
