I have met only a tiny, tiny number of people on my travels whose "human nature" makes them joke about beating up people for disagreeing with them. Indeed, I think "human nature" predominantly enables people to get along, and enables them to share or exchange opinions that differ without even alluding to violence, even in jest, let alone resorting to it.
