Have homosexuals tried to join the girl scouts yet? Why would they prefer to join the boy scouts? It shouldn't make any difference, right?
Just curious......
"The Girl Scout policy with regard to the sexual orientation of its members, volunteers and staff states “there are no membership policies on sexual preference,” which means that unlike the Boy Scouts and their policy regarding homosexual male adults, the Girl Scouts allow lesbians to serve as leaders.
"Although the Girl Scout policy also states the organization “does not permit sexual displays of any sort by its members during Girl Scout activities, nor does it permit the advocacy or promotion of a personal lifestyle or sexual preference,” "

Madeline chose to focus on the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community for her project. "I have many close friends who are part of the LGBT community. They have noticed intolerance toward their growing group. Also, I've heard seemingly intelligent people who believe the age-old stereotypes," Madeline shared. With the help of her local church community, Madeline created a book aimed at overcoming stereotypes and, at the same time, sharing the similarities of communication among family units.

Yah, the girl scouts are pretty liberal. That's why my wife and I would never let our daughter join. That's why my daughter wouldn't want to join. No big deal.
See how easy it is when you allow groups to do what they want to do. No need to get your panties in a wad just because some group holds on to different values than your own.

For example, gay rights. Most normal people who aren't gay
probably hope that things go well for the gays, but wouldn't, for
example, come on a chess website and beat the war drums over
gay advocacy.
Most people (gay or not) are offended by unfairness and inequality.
Most people (gay or not) stand up for minorities.
The only minority you are standing up for is bigotry.

Unfairness is as timeless as history. So is inequality. Should I be offended because professional athletes were born with more athletic talent than I was? Should I be offended because Steven Hawking was born with more mathematical ability than I was?
LIbboes like to imagine a world where everybody's equal, everybody has the same, where nobody gets their feelings hurt, nobody loses. Let me tell you what that world is called. 1982 Soviet Union. How'd that work out? And then we've got people like you that ignore that historical mess because it doesn't true up with your extreme left-wing ideology, because you want to create it all over again wherever you're from. Completely nonsensical.

No - but you should be offended if Steven Hawking faced invidious discrimination because he happens to be in a wheelchair!

My simple point is this. Moon for some reason has some fixation on gay issues. He is a caricature of the liberal platform. If you're going to win hearts and minds over to your cause, calling people who disagree with you "freaks" is not the way to go about it. And when you want to advocate gun control - well - threatening someone's life and telling the world about your violent homoerotic fantasies does not result in the strongest case.
Then again, perhaps it does.
