How very clever of you. Altering my profile. Tsk tsk, once again you resort to childish behaviour instead of intelligence. Why is it that you never argue against anything but just fill these forums with dribble?
And for your information I am employed full time (I have actually never been un-employed since I was 14), have several investments and due to t ...[text shortened]... am and I was pondering whether to pull this so I can subscribe to RHP. But sorry, Oxfam won out.
PS If after 10yrs of working you cant afford $30 maybe, something is wrong with what you are doing. Get some help with your finaces !

I'm sure she finds that very attractive.

Sort of like enjoying an excellent meal at your neighbor's house... day after day, month after month, year after year.
Here's another thought. Isn't the neighbor accountable for giving out his own food? In other words, if he feels the freeloader is taking advantage of him, shouldn't he stop the free meals? It's up to him to use his resources in the manner he sees fit. Outsiders have no business in telling him to stop feeding the neighbors. (Or, to be fair, in telling him to feed the neighbors even more than he already is.)

it's good to get opinions from non-subscribers in these forums the fact that they don't wish to pay a subscription fee is neither here nor there as many have already said you get what you pay for and many of us members were at one time checking out this site prior to joining. On the isue of non subscriber's being limited to a certain number of posts this is going too far the admins have the final word on what gets posted here. That should be sufficient.

Originally posted by AnyChessPlayerI do agree, but would point out that many people come here just to play chess. And many of those will use the forums just to talk about chess or get advice. For those people, the sight of reams and reams of spam and gibberish posted by a mentally ill troll is just as likely to cause them to go elsewhere as having no/restricted posted rights themselves.
I agree with you completely.
I've heard about Chessatwork from my co-corkers and now I love this site and the forums. I'm thinking to subscribe when my provisional period is over. So, it would be illogical for the admins to resrict non-subscribers from forums. There's no gain from this but loss.
This is what I think.
I believe that the For priate.
Constant abusers should be punished, it does not matter whether sub or non-sub.
But the answer, I agree, is to crack down on the offenders, whether subs or non-subs. And the mods should be congratulated for removing the (many) accounts of one of the biggest problems here.

Is that the guy who went crazy and spammed all over RHP?
I think he's removed from the site permenantly π
...so we can take a deep breath and forget about him.
Now what I'm sayin' is:
NonSubs=Subs.
Period!
