There is no "hell" at the border. It's a "problem" but a manageable one esp. if Republicans in Congress would stop blocking the needed measures to help manage it. Now IF you are going to implement an economic system based on private property and in which a small percentage of the People control the vast majority of the means of the production (which is the one we have), you have to insure that everybody has some means to live; that's common sense. You have taken away the People's freedom to roam and live as they please which is how we existed in the Natural State. For that sacrifice of freedom, society owes them reciprocal duties like those spelled out in the Constitution's Preamble.
This is probably a bit advanced for you; it's too bad that Lockean Natural Rights theory (the political philosophy this country was founded on) isn't taught at the levels of education you seem to have achieved.
