Off topic, but interesting - the current (as at 10.50 GMT on 3/2/2005) pope is actually a decent chess player. If I remember, he was rated about 2000 or so. I've a copy of Modern Chess Openings which cites one of his games.
I assume papal infallibility didn't extend to the chessboard.
Don't know if he was especially good at bishop endings though.

Isn't this the same thing you bash catholics over the head with about the pope ? THE WORD OF GOD(THE BIBLE), will guide you through every situation in life, if you choose to let it. There is no anger in the Salvation of JESUS CHRIST, all the anger died on the cross on Calvery. THE WORD OF GOD, interrepts its self. With THE HOLY SPIRIT, JESUS CHRIST, THE FATHER GOD, on your side, you can not fail. True ther is a price to pay, you must give up self. That part of you, that is living apart of what is right in your life. That sin self.
Those that beat up on Catholics are wrong, unless they are using,the scriptures to explain what the WORD OF GOD says. Even with that every Believer, has the duty to read THE WORD. Every Believer has the duty to follow the teachings of JESUS CHRIST. Every Believer has the duty, to obey the commandments that JESUS CHRIST, gave us to live by.
