Personally I think it's way too late, we have already tipped the scale to more hot which means melting ice caps, melting tundra letting loose millions of tons of Methane into the atmosphere which means the end of ice in Greenland and maybe even Antarctica in the next hundred years or so.
Human greed and stupidity will make sure of that scenario.
