In the 2 instances that Trump was successful at the polls, he competed against a female candidate.

When you compare the female's performance with the male candidate of her party that was successful before her you find that her male predecessor was more successful at the polls.

So what's the reason?

One reason was the short campaign of Harris, whereas Trump had more like a year and many millions shoved in by multibillionaires, like 70 odd million put in by Musk, who now bought his way into a choice slot in our government even though he is a pot smoker, acid taker and such and because of that cannot get a security clearance but Trump will just pull another Jared Kushner who literally lied on his TS clearance papers but Trump said, HE NOW HAS CLEARANCE. So he will no doubt pull the same strings with Musk. Musk is tired of just playing with only a third of a trillion of his own money and will now get to play with 28 trillion. What could possibly go wrong, eh.

Hillary was a terrible choice.

That said: we haven't had enough female candidates to make a proper assessment. Prior to Hillary, women presidential candidates were rare.

2020 is the first time there were multiple female candidates to choose from. We may need a few election cycles before coming to any conclusion.

But then again...black candidates were rare prior to Obama.

Em, she had nearly 3 million more votes than the Donald. 3 million. Brexit in the UK won by 2 around 2 million. But unfortunately they had a simple system with the most votes winning. Not 3 million less than your opponent.

She was a fine choice and would have been a great president of that I have no doubt but alas the states isn't ready perhaps for a female presi ...[text shortened]... s, people are unhappy so they want change but is the change any better? Sometimes it doesn't matter.

Turns out, America does not want a female President. I don't know if America ever will at this rate because what party will take the risk to try again?
