@no1marauder saidGawd, stupid error because of auto correct on my phone.
Who's "they"? You don't seriously expect a DA to empanel a Grand Jury, hear all the witnesses and then sit on it for more than a year?
For others who keep insisting that there won't wind up to be any charges at all, you don't until DAs or the Grand Jury process. The chances of a Grand Jury ending without any indictments if the DA wants some is remote.
Meant to say "you don't understand DAs or the Grand Jury process".
@averagejoe1 saidsh76 is being unclear on purpose, building "they" as a straw man. just like when Tucker says that "they" want to replace you, or "they" don't believe in capitalism.
Not to change subject, but not being clear at the outset in posts leaves the uninformed (like myself) a bit off the page. Example: A poster, Zahlanzi, on the 'solve abortion issue', page one, should have in some way shown that he was being facetious. Seriously. I responded wrote and wrote on it as if it were his true opinion, till everyone showed me to be the fool!!!! ...[text shortened]... Could he not save (me) a lot of trouble by stating its basis? This is not some competition, is it?
They are the bad guys. Of course the point is to build up trump as a victim of political persecution.
@wildgrass saidExactly ...it is a political move.

So tell us, if you fellers are into fairness (equity, equality, all things good) is it right for the Dems to continue this raging hyena-like prosecution, generally speaking, of Donald Trump? That is, since you all agree it is only for politics?
There is this Russian or Nazi thing where they would just identify someone they wanted to bring down, and just invent a reason to do so. Y'all favor that approach, do you?
I do not know how you can honestly answer this question.

@averagejoe1 saidIt's hard to answer a question based entirely on lies "honestly".

Why don't you wait and see if and what Trump is charged with before you call it "political" and expect everyone to agree with you?
@wildgrass saidWildgrass says Trump is not a victim of political persecution. He also thinks, out of all the people with loan obligations in the USA, that the ones with college degrees and opportunities galore before them, should have their loans wiped away.
He's not a victim of political persecution.
Follow his posts and be enlightened .
@no1marauder saidDo you really think any person in the US would be prosecuted in the way, the reasons, the digging, the chicanery, the ‘let’s try to turn this state misdemeanor into a federal felony’, ‘forget the statute of limitations’ way that it is being done?

A yes or no will suffice.
@no1marauder saidPS….. When you say ‘based on lies’, I feel as though I am reading Suzianne.

What a road!
@averagejoe1 saidYou keep asking loaded questions filled with falsehoods and expect others to take such BS seriously.

I think overall Trump, so far, has been treated with kid gloves by the legal system. And someone who insisted that they could not be prosecuted while they were in the office of the President can hardly expect that time to count towards a statute of limitations (in legal terms it would be "tolled" ).
@no1marauder saidYes, but you avoid my point, surely you realize that the Bragg guy DA is way out of line? About this threat to arrest? He has his target, now he needs a reason?!?!?!?!

And you actually write yourself some law to hold his time in White House in abeyance for a great way to get his ass? You are transparent, I will give you that.
@averagejoe1 saidAnd you are a brainwashed idiot who believes anything and everything right wing propaganda outlets spoon feed you.

I'll wait and see if and what Trump is indicted for before I judge their merits, which is what a reasonable person who isn't a political hack would and should do.
And I didn't invent the idea that statute of limitations are tolled for periods where a potential defendant is immune from prosecution.
@no1marauder saidI know exactly what Lawfare means and what HRC did fits the definition perfectly.
What do you pay a law firm for?
No matter how many times you keep making uninformed guesses, we won't know what Trump is charged with if and until an indictment is issued. But thanks for your worthless but predictable pre-emptive "whataboutism" defense of Trump.
BTW, you don't know what "Lawfare" means.
Do you have to resort to lying about definitions now?
@no1marauder saidBecause Trump is looking forward to it. It will give him the media attention he wants and republicans will turn against the double standard and support Trump.
Are you saying Trump is lying? He's the one saying he'll be arrested Tuesday.
Democrats are playing right into Trump's goal. He wants to be arrested. Nothing could please him more.
