@rajk999 saidNo, the land of Canaan belongs to the Jews.
Wrong. The Land of Palestine belongs to the Jews. Whether or not you believe that is irrelevant. That is the belief of the 2 parties fighting over that land. It is written in both the Torah and in the Quran. This is why there are many moderate muslims who do not support what Palestinians are doing. No genocide is required, just the realisaton on the part of Palistinians that they are a defeated people but can still live in Israel in peace under a Jewish government.
Gaza and the rest of the coastal plain is not part of Canaan.

@athousandyoung saidThe division of the land in the bible according to the 12 tribes of Israel, at some future date, is listed in Ezekiel 47 in detail. Here is a website that shows it on a map. It includes Gaza.

@rajk999 saidOh so now you want Israel to conquer half of Egypt and Iraq?! You want them to conquer Jordan?! You are insane!

The land that Genesis 17.8 refers to as being "an everlasting possession" is NOT the same land that Genesis 15:18 is referring to. Canaan is not all of the territory from the Nile to the Euphrates!
The Biblical Millenium was approximately 500-1500 AD when the Church took over governance of Europe. It already happened. It's done. We're in a post Millennial time period now.
@jj-adams saidIt sounds a lot like you're saying taking something through violence makes it the taker's property and that this is reasonable.
Who owns Gaza?
Right now the Israelis do.
Hamas brought it on themselves.
Do you feel the same way when stores are robbed by mobs of violent thugs?
@athousandyoung saidInteresting reaction. All I am doing is telling you about a particular bible prophecy. The millennium period starts when Christ returns, not before. A few things have to happen [and are happening right now], prior to that. So your 500-1500 AD millennium is very off.

If we were living in 1920 and a man told you that soon the Jews will take get most of Palestine back, you will say the man is a lunatic.
@rajk999 saidThe Millenium began "soon" after Revelation was written (Rev 1:1-3) so if you think it hasn't happened yet you are incorrect.

If you're going to do that you should be clear what Biblical passages you are referring to.
EDIT In particular I want to see your evidence for this statement:
The millennium period starts when Christ returns, not before.
@rajk999 saidThat map is wrong. This is the correct map:

Exekiel 21 “You are to distribute this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Israel. 22 You are to allot it as an inheritance for yourselves and for the foreigners residing among you and who have children. You are to consider them as native-born Israelites; along with you they are to be allotted an inheritance among the tribes of Israel. 23 In whatever tribe a foreigner resides, there you are to give them their inheritance,” declares the Sovereign Lord.
IF you want to claim Gaza is part of this description then the Palestinians should be considered native born Israelis and should be given their inheritance.
In any case the Twelve Tribes period was at least 400 years before Ezekiel was written.
@athousandyoung saidOf course many people can inherit parts of Palestine. Nobody says Gaza residents have to leave. The point is that it will all be called Israel under a unified Jewish government. It is Gazans that want Jews to leave.
That map is wrong. This is the correct map:

Your maps is the historical map. The one in Ezekiel is the prophecy of Israel in the future.
@rajk999 saidThere are a lot of Palestinians with land deeds that the Israelis completely ignore and the IDF is telling Gazans to leave.

EDIT - Israel kicked out the residents of Ashdod and Ashkelon a long time ago and gave their property to Jews.
You REALLY think a book written over 500 years before Jesus was born is referring to a prophecy two and a half millenia in the future? Ezekiel is prophecying the Second Temple period, not the third millenium AD period!
@rajk999 saidThe Jews do not believe Jesus was the messiah, so they do not believe the first coming has happened yet. Christians believe Jesus was the son of god as the Muslims do. They both have that in common.

Jews are the Jesus refuters. The vast majority of Jews thought Jesus was a fraud.
