But I do support your right to free speech, Suzianne. I have never alerted any of your posts. I have never complained to the site about your behaviour. I have never tried to get you banned or ever - not even once - talked about getting you banned or speculating about you getting banned - on the forums (which is not something you can claim about yourself with regard to me) and I haven't blocked your messages so you are still free to speak to me if you want, although you know what kind of nonsense will be shown to others if you try that again. Yes, I think my 'support of free speech' credentials are maybe better than yours.

Do you believe that your supposedly trenchant ~ principled? ~ opposition to "vindictive and arrogant" posting on the forums has been demonstrated and exemplified by your own posting?

It may have been necessary to do so in order to dance properly to music by The Police in around 1980, but I cannot recall specifically if I did or not.

But it involves a certain amount of risk. And would I take that risk to get a free onesie? Mmm. I'd have to reveal confidential stuff in order to answer that properly. Let's continue this discussion by PM.

Jerk.
You go ahead, have your confidential discussion in a PM.

drewnogal and I are not going to be hurling any bizarre paranoid accusations or absolutely ludicrous threats at each other, so why wouldn't it remain confidential?

And, in case you are unable to cotton on, that was a roundabout way of saying...

.. whoosh ..

There is no mystery about what I am saying at all, Suzianne. I am saying I felt no obligation to keep your behaviour secret because your message consisted of bizarre paranoid accusations and a couple of absolutely ludicrous threats and was clearly an abuse of the web site's message facility.

Huh? When did I say anything even remotely like this. I have kept maybe 5,000+ messages private in my time here and shared 2 with other regular posters. How do you extrapolate from this that I have no reason to keep any messages private? You're clutching at straws Suzianne. I showed people your message because of its content (just as I did years ago with one from galveston75). I saw no reason to keep what you sent me private. This is very different from you claiming I see no reason to keep ANY message private. I have demonstrated amply over the last 10 years that I have a long track record rooted in a keen sense of protocol based on strong reasons for keeping messages private.

Nothing's changed. Tank tops arise from a lack of good ideas and they lead on to this that and the other.

You're also under no obligation to prevent her from sending you private messages.
