Take, for example, one of your (frequent) toxic posts. Another poster may wish to express their disapproval but knows to reply to you in the thread will lead to post after post of passive-aggressive, dog with a bone, vitriol. Giving you an anonymous thumbs down may prove a more appealing option.

Well I think it's infantile. Relentless Red used to drone on about this "forum retribution" thing. It just seems so silly. Disagree with someone, fine. Ignore someone, fine. Alert a post to get it removed if it breaks the TOS. There's no need for a teenage feature on a website almost exclusively for grown ups.
