I'm supporting Swindon tonight.

I'd love to trade blows by dishing the dirt on a Forest player of the same era, but frankly I just don't know any. π€·βοΈ
You seem like the type of fan who likes to say (a lot) 'my team is better than yours'...
Nice....
I could name several Forest players of 'Carras 'time that you would 'know', but none that would spit in the face of a fan who mildly taunted him. Sorry about that.
Even sorry-er if you support 'Carra's' spitting episode. Maybe you could comment on that?
Ps....took out Arsenal 1-0 today. Happy day
@blood-on-the-tracks saidDid Forrest ever recover from selling Stan Collymore? Great result today, fantastic record at home they have in the cup recently.

@Trev33
FoRest recovered from selling Stan to the Scousers. They, of course, ruined him, but hey, ho.
You a Scouse fan by any chance?
@blood-on-the-tracks saidNo Utd. Was going to ask if they recovered after selling Keane then I remembered they slipped down a division that season π

Collymore was great, that winner in the 4-3 win over Newcastle which pretty much handed the title to Utd, doesn’t matter what else he did π
@trev33 saidYeah, Keanno jumped ship. Bless. Still goes on record as saying Cloughie was better manager than Fergie.

You just had the dollars to pay him more.
I prefer Stan getting that winner at Old Trafford. Couldn't Fergie see then he was 'the man'? Whoops
Ps don't you feel you are slipping into RR's territory of 'my team are better than yours' ?? Cause yours are a disgrace at the moment
@blood-on-the-tracks saidKeane had a power trip thinking he was bigger and better than everyone else, he wasn’t arrogant enough at that stage to say anything bad about Clough. World Cup 2002 says it all, we had a serious chance and he let his ego get in the way. Great player though.

I don’t seem to remember Stan scoring any winner at Old Trafford π Cantona at the 96 FA cup final though π±
After years of Stoke and Burnley in the PL seems only right we get Forest back.
@Trev33
94/5. I suppose Psycho officially got the 'winner', but it's a heck of a goal from Stan.
Not too sure what you are saying about Keane. Arrogant one line, then a shrinking violet on another. I am fairly sure he weighs up the 2 managers in one of his autobiographies, so was definitely in arrogant mode then.
With or without Keane, don't think Ireland had a realistic chance of winning the 2002 WC (although 2 fairly average teams DID make the semis). Think he 'just ' had no time at all for the manager, McCarthy
@blood-on-the-tracks saidYeah i think he probably did, I don't read footballer autobiographies, no point.

Oh, Ireland had a serious chance in 2002, International football isn't about star players it's about working and playing as a team, look what Greece did in 2004. I'd argue 3 poor sides reached the semis and Brazil weren't anything special themselves, on paper England had a better team than Brazil. Remember Ireland drew 1-1 with Germany in the group and were the reason Holland didn't qualify.
@very-rusty saidYou got up at 6am to write that?
I don't understand why we have a sports forum! π π
