You mentioned his family and you are so right to remember them. Military families often endure painful separations, frequent relocations, and chronic stress. Only .5% of our population is currently active duty, which can cause them to feel pretty isolated from the rest of society. That being said, they are a resilient bunch. Committed, loyal, tenacious...

Don't be a hypocrite. If Landisqueen had directly said "God bless you FMF", you would have torn her up over that. Her heart is in the right place. Can't you just be happy with that and not crap all over her heartfelt thoughts? She SAID "allies"... what more do you want? A personal "God bless"?? Like I said, if she had done that, you would have attacked her over that too. Stop looking everywhere for a reason to be a horse's ass. There are real people behind these avatars you mouth off to.

The troops on the ground carry out actions dictated by the ruling powers ie governments in the name of the people.
If a country is guilty of errors then look to the politicians and not the troops on the ground.
