We warned them. And when the anniversary came up and they asked for an apology, I am so grateful America said NO. It was war. We defended ourselves and our children. End of story for me. I waited a while, and people in here who have far more knowledge then they are saying because they are humble but finally had enough and spoke up.
Other then Faith who ...[text shortened]... is other person for his or her service along with his or her family. Far better people then me.
You mentioned his family and you are so right to remember them. Military families often endure painful separations, frequent relocations, and chronic stress. Only .5% of our population is currently active duty, which can cause them to feel pretty isolated from the rest of society. That being said, they are a resilient bunch. Committed, loyal, tenacious...
God bless our troops, those of our allies, and all of their family members and friends who stand by and support them unconditionally. Seems like the freedom loving world will be calling upon you once again to sacrifice. We give you our humble and sincere gratitude.

The post that was quoted here has been removedLandisqueen170 said "God bless our troops, those of our allies, and all of their family members and friends who stand by and support them unconditionally." Well, Indonesia is a de facto 'ally' of the U.S. - and certainly operates as an ally in the so-called War On Terror - so my question to Landisqueen170 is: is she urging me to support the Indonesian Army unconditionally? Do I not get a "God bless" too if I don't?

Can't you just be happy with that and not crap all over her heartfelt thoughts? She SAID "allies"... what more do you want? A personal "God bless"?? Like I said, if she had done that, you would have attacked her over that too. Stop looking everywhere for a reason to be a horse's ass. There are real people behind these avatars you mouth off to.

If a country is guilty of errors then look to the politicians and not the troops on the ground.

I urge you to support whoever or whatever your heart and conscious dictates.
