People in western cultures have imposed that line upon the us. This is an international site and I have already stated that this symbol is WIDELY used by many eastern religions.
in fact, it's a bit hard to find a culture that HASN'T used swastikas completely unrelated to german nationalists.

The Finns were Hitler's allies. The swedes closet allies.
The Finns still use the swastika on some of their flags.
That doesn't change the fact that the swastika is offensive to many many people.
If one of you swastika fans wants to make a point, why not use one as your avatar and let's see how long it lasts.
