It would have been ignorant of me, if I knew it was a fictional character, if I knew it was Kunte Kinte, and I still 'ran' to the Admin, to request its removal. That's ignorance.
You could of course have handled this way better by once sending me a PM with the simple question asking what my avatar was refering too without running to the site admin with unfounded bias towards me as a person. I do take offence you consider me a racist.
