I have been playing chess for over 20 years and have been teaching chess for almost a decade. I have never seen a single person improving in such a short time (especially not after having been on a 1100-1300 level for quite some time) ...

Something happened on Sep 25th. He lost some games after that date... but poor play was not the reason.

we shall see. it's amazing how intimidated you are by good moves. i feel very confident that i will win both my games against him and he is my captain. I think this is a personal issue. clearly he's improved positionally, but surely you are not afraid?
