Oh, it's still there. Although it's gone to sh-t recently.
As much as I'd love to do a Regional meet-up, I'm really hoping that a bigger one may materialise. I know it's pretty unlikely, but I'm crossing my fingers.
But anytime you Canucks want to get together, just let me know...

Since the conversation in the London Meet-Up thread seems to have turned to a similar event in the US and/or Canada, I figured I'd start a new thread for the purpose of discussing that.
Geographically, we're covering a much larger territory, so I thought it might be worthwhile to consider two meet-ups, one for the eastern half of the continent, and ...[text shortened]... r to central).
For the west, I'm thinking Denver or San Francisco.
What do you all think?
Tally so far:
East:
DC - l
Boston - lllll-1/2
Tennessee (city?) - l
Macon, GA - l
Tornto - 1/2
Montreal - 1/2
Philadelphia - l-1/2
NYC - l
Central:
Dallas - ll
Kansas City - l
Milwaukee - l
Detroit
West:
SF - lll
Denver - lll

If Darvlay and GBS want to pick just one of their two cities, we can get rid of the halves....

Washington or Philly or Pittsburgh would seem to be better locations if you're trying to maximize attendance from people in the eastern half of the US and Canada.
By the way, it looks like there might be sufficient interest to at least get some kind of meet-up going in Beantown.
Phlabby, since that's your town, you interested in putting it together?
