Ray Stevenson, British actor, dies at 58. He was in some really big films that, of course, I never saw. But he was good in TV series Rome and Das Boot.

Bizarrely, he is no less than the FOURTH person who was born in the same month and year as me who I learned had passed away TODAY. One family member, one of my sons' teachers, and a priest my wife knew (found out through WhatsApp) and now this TV actor (found out from a news app alert). It’s a bit disconcerting, to put it mildly.

Don’t worry you’ve already had your own ‘notable death’.

I suppose. But my new brain doesn't accept or respect the one it replaced.

Do you now think 'I used to be FMF?'

The police came once and asked who is FMF? I said I am FMF. Then my neighbours rallied around me, and one by one, they said "I am FMF", "No, I am FMF", "Wait I am FMF", "it's me, I am FMF", and on it went. Overwhelmed, the police left. You see, The Gravedigger, being FMF is a state of mind, an attitude to life. All you have to do is say "I am FMF".

I said that once and was promptly arrested. Once bitten, twice shy. Now I say, “I am NOT FMF”.

Familial Mediterranean fever (FMF) is an autoinflammatory genetic disorder that mainly affects people of Mediterranean origin. FMF is characterized by recurrent episodes of fever and serositis (chest, abdomen, joints), leading to painful attacks early during childhood. Amyloidosis is the most fatal complication of FMF.

No, he spent too much time playing with his didgeridoo.
