This argument has nothing to do with No1 - the decision was made by the SITE ADMINS and it's down to them to tell us why.
I know about one of these tools because in the early stage of development it interfered with my computer. Seems to work ok now though.

THEN they could see if a chess engine was running at the same time!, maybe they can also read your emails and PMs
Crikey they could email my boss and tell her that I don't do enough work.
Of course if they do not use these methods they are merely guessing at who cheats
Lets face it the spying methods do exist, who is looking at your private information - and is it legal?

Originally posted by leestatiche's obviously a seriously good player in his own right. maybe he analyses his game within an engine and checks his analysis against the engine's. depending on the engine he would probably sometimes come up with a better move than the engine, hence a matchup under 100%, and hence he might beat even another engine user -- and the engine would save him from making any blunders whatsoever, even several moves deep. ever. in 1304 games.
surely ironman (if an engine user) has come up against another engine user on many occasions in his 1303 games possibly using the same engine, chessmaster v chessmaster usually one side will win. The thought of beating ironman must have been very tempting for some to use an engine so surely he should have more losses? And by the looks of some of his challenges he takes anybody on.
Originally posted by orfeoYes, that is the other logical, but shocking, explanation. Please don't get me wrong, I have never said that the Game Mods are wrong to prosecute whatever evidence they have against cheats.
There's another logical explanation.
He is really that person. He has fun coming to a site that doesn't really matter in the scheme of things and loves having his ego stroked. So he ensures his results match his once glorious reputation.
I am just concerned that putting up one, out of the way, page listing banned players is not the best advertisement for the hard work, I don't doubt, the Game Mod team is doing. I was just hoping for something more officially prominent and more comprehensive.
Originally posted by ExyAs stated many times before: The FAIR and JUST way of reporting cheating is to click on "Send Feedback" at the bottom of the page, and send Chris or Russ a message outlining your concerns. I've done it before, and had a response within twentyfour hours as to what has happened. Easy!
Well if "one of them has told you that" then again will the ADMINS please give us a FAIR and JUST system to report cheating - it's obvious from No1's admission involving a Game Mod that the current system does not work as they are resorting to "private" forums within the site to make accusations! 😕

Is it on the cards?
Unfortunately, when it comes to the development of RHP, Russ has to juggle a long list of competing priorities. We'll just have to stand in the queue.
How about we start looking at the good side of all this? The Game Mods are finally showing that swift justice will be laid upon anyone who uses an engine here, and for god sakes that's all people have been whining about for like months and months and well probably years now. Today is really a big step for the site.... Our pinacle player has basically betrayed us (in a sense) and been banished (but will be return under a different name....hmmm...), and from what it sounds like more will follow him and the other Elite 5 out the door. The fact that it was our top player isn't good at all obviously (no one misses Yozzer, it seems), but it IS good to see that things are being handled. Everyone's common goal in this whole issue is to get rid of cheaters, and that's being done, and we also get a fancy little Hall of Shame page to exploit those cheaters and whisper mean things about them behind their backs. What we have now may not be exactly what every little nit-picker on this site wants, but I just wanted to point out to Russ and the Mods that I for one see this as huge progress for this site, and deep down I'm sure most agree.
OK.
Drawing my own comparisons between photo 1 (http://www.dogstarr.org.uk/rhpfaces/gallery/gal92.htm) and photo 2 xxxxxxI would definatly say they are the same person. Lighting and setting, so forth, have a small play, and digital editing can help make anyone draw a strong resemblance, but have a look at the following details.
- Eyebrow arch. See how they droop down towards the end? Both pictures have this same characteristic. The angle makes it look a tad different on photo 1.
- Ears. This is the easiest to spot. Both have the same indent in the middle.
However, there are some crucial differences.
- Chin. Have a look at the cleft. It is not as prominent on photo 2 as it is on photo 1. However, this could be the fault of the angle, and lighting.
Also, Ironman31 has a thin neck. xxxxxxdoesn't. This could be because of the difference in time between the 2 photos. I'm not to say.
My thoughts on Ironman31 - No1 was right. I didn't expect him to be; and how can you, No1, expect anyone to believe you after you have been shown as an arrogant, annoying, and generally unpleasant character? People have every right to oppose you, and I would find that most disturbing if you do not believe that. Even if you do, the fact that you constantly fob off people who present a legitimate argument is quite off putting. Honestly.
Exy has every right to be annoyed with you; as does everyone else. Being right does not mean you can be a xxxxxx.
My advice (even though I am 99% sure you will not heed it, or bother to even read it) is that you hurry up and leave the site, along with your pet dog Arrakis. The whole accusation stuff is old now - get over it. Finish your games. You have achieved enough notoriety - now go. I think it would be better for the whole RHP community to have one less dissenter in the ranks, if indeed the cheaters are still operating (which I have no doubt they are). You have done your job (which wasn't even yours), so I repeat, go.
