>Cheat or not,hell to a lot of chess players just playing the No.1.player would bring a smile to our day.I know playing against David Tebb when he dropped to no.2. brought a lot of enthusiasum to my chess game and it makes no difference to me if he had used a computer or not.I know he didn't because he showed me how to use the pawns.

I see the problem now. You assume this has only happened because no1 said something.
Utter rubbish, as far as I'm concerned. The Game Mods made clear in the relevant thread that they were already working on matters before no1 publicly said anything.
Also, does the list of banned people match up with the ones no1 has presented evidence about? I don't believe it does.
EDIT: I see now that both of these points have been made before. But I think they're worth repeating because they're so fundamental.

Well if "one of them has told you that" then again will the ADMINS please give us a FAIR and JUST system to report cheating - it's obvious from No1's admission involving a Game Mod that the current system does not work as they are resorting to "private" forums within the site to make accusations! 😕
Any method you suggest that's private has the same effect. Any method you suggest that's public is going to lead to all sorts of problems and people being shunned as cheaters before the Game Mods have made a decision.

If the Site's Policy on Cheating worked then small fry like No1 wouldn't be allowed to happen. If he wants to report his analysis to the Game Mods then fair play to him.
The bottom line is that the process needs to be clear cut - how do you report - on what basis - what will the Game Mods do - on what evidence shall they act - when someone is b ...[text shortened]... the trouble to read him his rights and tell him why. It's beyond shocking, it's embarrassing.

surely ironman (if an engine user) has come up against another engine user on many occasions in his 1303 games possibly using the same engine, chessmaster v chessmaster usually one side will win. The thought of beating ironman must have been very tempting for some to use an engine so surely he should have more losses? And by the looks of some of his challenges he takes anybody on.
Not that I necessarily think he HAD that many games against other engine users.
