Users here can chat any number of ways if they want... 10 PM's a day is enough if you don't want to caugh up some coins.

Yes, but if the jerk had to be on the Buddy List he wouldn't be able to spam them. As it is he can still send 10 messages a day until he gets chucked off the site.

There is one really easy solution to your problem ... Stop being so bloody tight and cough up some dough to support this site

Here we go again.
Some poor people just cannot afford to.
I find it offensive that people call them "tight" when they perhaps would like to but can't subscribe. Without knowing peoples circumstances, it's out of order.😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠

Anyone who tells me that they can't afford 30 bucks a year is a LIAR. There can't be any excuses. Even the worst scrounger out there can rustle up less than a quid a week. If you're that hard up, go begging.
Do you smoke? Quit. OK, that may be a bit hard for some, so... erm... Stop buying tabs and pick up dog ends. Drink? Drink water. It's usually free. Eat? Go rootle in a supermarket skip. Even dole scroungers can save (I did)...

The people who don't want to subscribe are not poor, they'd just rather spend 30 bucks on something which has more value for them.
I think that non-subs shouldn't be allowed to post in the forums, PM, or any of the other things. They shouldn't be rated and should be identified by a number only. They should be bombarded by spam and pop-ups.

There are lots of chess sites out there, play up to 20 games, etc. Don't want to pay a measley 30 bucks? Go there, skinflint.

EDIT: If you're that bad off, sell your fckuing computer...

Well said,on Playchess.com if you don't fork the cash within a certain period of time (usually a month) your account is reset to "Guest" (yes, even the nickname disappears) and you can't create any rated game.
Playchess ,with ICC,is the most popular chess site,so spare breath saying that diminishing non-subs privileges is a damage to the site, this policy works greatly and recently even on Gameknot more restrictions were implemented for non-subs.

What will they bring in next? Only subscribers are allowed to play chess? Non subs can only play cyber tiddly winks and are not allowed to use the letter 'A' more than twice in any sentence. Sheeeeesh!

Why not get his e-mail address or use messenger? You can still chat through the game as you make your moves.

You've made that point elsewhere. Keep it up, some forums still lack this golden peanut.
