When did I ask anyone to care more for one group or another? I'm not happy about a clan I'm in flying an image of a mass murderer who doesn't deserve any 'air time'.
Don't throw in oranges when I'm talking about apples.

Yes, that is fine... but did you put up a bulletin board with your comedy on the subject for all to see?
These 'jokes' are for you and your friends. If you are doing it in public, expect someone to turn to you and tell you that you are clearly an ass.

Turns ou Cho was Autistic, diagnosed at age 8.....who do we blame for the killings now ? God ?
So--as with the Twin Towers--there's a sense that at least some of the victims "deserved it".

I would have to question the fact that an autistic child was sent to a strange country to fend for themselves in the first place. Although i'm sure i will be slated for that opinion too, you have to ask yourself if you would make the same choice for your autistic child (i accept that there are different levels of autism). With no support system in place, a limited knowledge of the culture and language, and the ability to buy a gun and gun related videos ( it has been revealed that the poses he made in his pictures strongly resemble a South Korean film called...."Oldboy" )......then add bullying and racism.....ticking timebomb might be an apt analogy.

I insist... it's all about parental negligence. When the folks neglect
their kids, or drink too much booze, or abuse them (in any way),
the kids become space cadets or live longing for attention 😞
And they will get it even if it's at the cost of poor taste ðŸ˜
And then you talk about bad taste?😕

The post that was quoted here has been removedBaudrillard's death [sic?] has allowed anyone to become Baudrillard [sic?]. But I refuse to.
Er---he'd probably mutter something impenetrable but seductively evocative about simulacra...I'm very interested in the killer's action man poses, he seems to have stylised all that internalised violence to an extraordinary degree. (Video nasties-->killers confirms precession of simulacra? Simplistic but logical...)

A planned mass shooting certainly isn't characteristic of autism and you certainly cannot single that out. I would say a lot of other factors were involved.
Some autistics live entire lives, have successful careers and appear completely "normal".
Originally posted by lauseyI'm just suggesting that it should be considered as a factor when handing out culpability.....no offence meant to The Autistic in the audience, i tried to make that as clear as i could in my post 🙂
