In fairness I am in a bad way, am a rook for pawn down, but it irks me to receive a mesage like this.
I agree that it isn't great to play on in a hopeless position, but telling your opponent he/she should resign?? Bad manners I think.
Anyway, as a NON SUBSCRIBER they can only play 6 games and want me to resign so they can play more...

'Kindly' (hehehe) point out to him/her that he/she can subscribe any time he/she likes if he/she wants to play more games.

Try to be big and forget about it. I do not know how the rules deal with a player telling a player to resign. By rules I mean USCF and FIDE tournament rules. The rules my consider it player harassment. When I have a win and my opponent does not resign I just play on.

Gosh, I think that kind of stinks.
I mean, I'm all for THEM resigning if they want to but you should not.
Because, for me (as I am often down pieces) I would use my position of being in the deficit to do some real learning (and I've been lucky enough to play some great folks who have pointed out chess tips, ways to look at the board strategically).
You have a chance to learn something here, to do some real work on your attacking and planning ahead. A game is a game.
While you still have pieces on the board, you have a chance to win. I'd pay extra strong attention to that game and really give them a run for their money.
I think it stinks that they "asked" you to resign.
Let them resign if they want to play someone else.

i played eddie dantes a few times and in the first game i felt i was beaten (which i was) so i resigned, the next thing i get a challenge from him and his message was why on earth did you resign when you still had pieces on the board and therefore a chance.
i would not drag it out just out of spite. just follow the game through to it natural conclusion.

If you think you're going to loose: its time to play for a draw. Whether by move repetition or stalemate, go for it. Resign only when all hope of even a draw has gone. Though in this particular situation (and its happened to me too), their utter rudeness necessitates playing on till the bitter end. And bitter it will be.
