She does anyway. Who cares?

Anyway, I have another solution.

I seem to remember reading in the bible that the best way to solve intractable disputes is to get a baby and slice it in half.

False analogy - the baby was a finite quantity. The number of available tournaments is effectively infinite.

Next time something isn't how she wants it out it comes once again (it has in the past). Suddenly it's skeeter not Russ who controls this site and if you disagree you'll be run out of town.

Sound good?
Well, you seem to be suggesting already that skeeter's behaviour determines the outcome. Frankly, she's got all the power she needs right there. You're guaranteeing that her opinion MATTERS.

Whereas I'm advocating the outcome that I think is appropriate, regardless of what others think, you seem to have thrown your own opinion out the window and focused on skeeter's.

So, who's winning here?

It wasn't an analogy. I think we should start slicing up babies until someone breaks down.

So, you're saying that the girls get a choice between not entering at all, or entering a tournament that doesn't fulfil the original intention of the tournament?

What happened to the option where the guys stopped behaving like jerks and accepted that they're not supposed to saunter into EVERYWHERE like they owned the place?

One tournament out of hundreds people who had good enough educational opportunities to know how to play chess.
Read my post again and repeat with me......... crying about it in the forums won't solve anything, crying about it in the forums won't solve anything, crying about it in the forums won't solve anything.

It's not cynism,it's seeing things in a rational way:the tournament as it is now can't be started and someday will start with the guys in it or deleted as it cannot be started.
Everything I said it's correct,the tournament it's a fiasco and I don't give a damn about who's right and who's not.

I don't know which is worse,if guys entering that tournament or someone threatening to put on the net personal details about a user of this site, trying to do a lame blackmail.

I don't remember such a fuss for people entering banded tournament with the wrong rating, the principle is exactly the same.

I'm done with this argument,I wish you a happy arguing.

Aw, I think you are just a pessimist.

Have you ever sought something above your natural ability? Have you ever dreamed of doing something with your life?

Of all the people who have posted in this forum, my heart goes out to you, buddy... a person w/o dreams is a person to die a lonely and uneventful death.

Oh,here is the two bit psychologist........what's this crap?
What do my "dreams etc.etc" have to do with what I stated?

Do you mean I should dream that this tournament starts tomorrow with all female entrants?

Dream on Homer,I don't see how your idiotic post relates to what I said before.......

I find this is particularly hilarious >>>Arrakis:Have you ever sought something above your natural ability? Have you ever dreamed of doing something with your life?

Are you saying that your goal in life is to create a tournament for women on an internet chess site??

Thanks for the laugh dude!

You laugh now but I know you are crying inside. When you try to sleep tonight this post will ring through your mind over and over again...

When you wake tomorrow the very first thing that will come to your mind is this post... and then you'll have to come to the realization of your failures - which is why you are such a hateful person.

I'm sorry to be the one to bring out your own Hell. I guess when somebody like you tries to cause pain to others, it's just natural that it comes back to yourself.

Don't worry. There's still that half full fifth of booze you didn't finish last night. It'll help you forget your problems for the day.

You can't be serious with this post, if you really are then I guess it's you who have serious mental disorders........

Amazing, out of the hundreds of tournaments, people need to pick THIS one to try and mess up.

Idiots.

Yes, it's a shame. I'm glad Russ finally stepped in and asked the guys to LEAVE!

It sure sounds like it. And he also says it's above his natural ability, which explains why it doesn't work very well.

Nordlys, you are a great artist and an exceptionally bright, young lady. However, your response is disappointing... I never said any such thing. I asked the question from another person, one "sicko" whom I would think you wouldn't want to support! 😕
