I decided from the beginning that clearing away the f7 pawn for my knight to jump to e6 was a good bet. At first I was trying to make the queen sacrifice on f7 work, but as long as black didn't make the mistake of capturing with his king he had the escape square of g6. It took me a while to see that Rg6+ shifted the pawn and blocked the escape square at the same time. THEN I could satisfy my Queen sacrificial urges.
