Since i'm no good in solving puzzles,I'll give you one of 1924:
White:Ka6,Rb8,a5,c6
Black:Kd6,Ra8,Nb6,a7
White to play and win, looks easier than it really is.........
I'll dig up some puzzles to post tomorrow, instead of just attempting to solve everyone elses.
Originally posted by RavelloProblem is, I don't have another problem to follow on with. In fact, perhaps we should make presenting a fresh puzzle a requirement after posting a solution. Just an idea to keep the thread ticking happily over.
Well,if someone knows the solution is right to post it and make another puzzle............
Let's do so:if no one posted the solved puzzle until 24:00 italian time (23:00 uk time I guess) I'll post the solution and a new one.
P.S. You don't need to post the solution. If someone else doesn't solve it, I'll follow my own advice and find a new problem for tomorrow. 😉

1.c7,Kxc7 2.axb6+,Kxb8 3.b7! 1-0 or
1.c7,Kxc7 2.axb6+,axb6 3.Rxa8 1-0
I hope I didn't miss a cunning black reply.....
Oh,dyl, posting a new puzzle already was a requirement LOL 🙄
So now I have to find another puzzle.,hmm
Here's another:
White:Ka6,Nb8,Bh4,c2,d2
Black:Kd5,a3,d4
White to play and win.....enjoy!

Here is a rather difficult one for those who have time to spend.
White: Kg1 Qd7 Nf7 Nh4 a2 f2 g2 h3
Black: Kh7 Qb8 Rg8 Nb2 a6 b5 g7 h6
White to move has sac'ed an exchange for the attack, and wins.
I would be surprised if anyone would find this in a few minutes. Tal didn't find the right combination OTB, and the game was drawn.
Originally posted by Decantersure. Try 1.Nc6 Kxc6 (if not then Na5 and Nb3 will stop the a-pawn) 2.Bf6 Kd5 3.d3 a2 4.c4+ and black has to take e.p. because he has no other means of defending the d-pawn. dxc3 e.p. 5.Bxc3 wins.
I have no idea how white can prevent the pawn promotion at A1. Congrats to whoever figured this out.
Don't discourage,Mephisto is our puzzle wizard and I hope one day I'll have the brilliant way of thinking he has.
We're just stuck with the beginner's way of thinking, spotting the most common moves but dishoriented when the path takes an unusual direction.........
I think Chess is one of the most creative games to play,in chess fantasy is all.
