Thanks to schakuhr for pointing out the skewer white would have with the light-squared bishop if we played ... g5 Rd4 ... Qe6. Qe5 is clearly better, but if we played g6 instead of g5, the Q could go to g5 and white's king looks vulnerable. However, I'm not sure how to continue the attack after that. Maybe ...Be6
g6 also seems like a safer move than g5 at this point.
What else could white play after ... g6?
How would we respond to ...g6 e4?

I think Ba6 followed by a rook trade is our best option. I vote Ba6.
Rfc1 which doubles the rook and gives more support on the bishop, or
Rb5 attacking the queen.
since trading rooks won't bring us any advantages so I don't think Ba6 is the best option.

On the other hand, there's nothing wrong with offering a rook trade.

1. .... Rc5
If white response with b3,
then we can counter by Rb5 also releasing the pin
2.Qc3
we can now play either the Nxb3 or Bxb3.
2. .... Nxb3
3.Qxc4 Qxc4
4.Rxc4 Nxd2
which leaves to an open game...
if we play Bxb3 it is also ok.
2. .... Bxb3
3.Bxb3 Nxb3
4.Rb1 Nxd2
it will be better after both the white bishops are gone..

Have to beware the Queen sac at f8 and the following bank rank mate of Rxc8 which Ba6 covers. Don't think seperating the rooks is a good idea right now and this releases the pin too.[/b]
since your ratings are way higher than mine...
I change my vote to Ba6 then
