Who are you to judge if exd e.p. was a bad move, it was by consensus, and that is what most people wanted to play. I agreed with Bd3, and I thought it was best, but on seeing Qd5 was going to win, i voted for g5, to try and stop Qd5 (I believe I was the only person who said that white would answer d4, which Bd3 would have stopped). In addition to this, I ...[text shortened]... throwing your toys out the pram whenever you lose a vote; yes, it's annoying, but get over it!
who am I to judge? - well, very simply - I'm a chess player....
-- this is a chess game -- It's not like i'm sending people to Hell is it?
I used my JUDGEMENT - I assessed the position -- I personally feel it was a bad move...even though, I was at the begining, a proponant of it...
and of course, we all know, large consensus of people cannot be wrong....

Tactical voting - wow, democrasy in action....
yep! lets vote Bush because Kerry sucks --
"so I certainly was not just following everyone elses opinion."
I was making a general statement - I'm sure some did study the position - but i also think some just followed the "trend"
"Stop throwing your toys out the pram whenever you lose a vote; yes, it's annoying, but get over it!"
and thats not what I was trying to do....
chessmaster moves f6
A small suggestion to improve the voting system would be to send PMs to me, the fourm would be then used to discuss moves and strategy, while no one sees the actual moves people have voted for, this might or might not help. Another suggestion would be to increase the time there is allowed for us to move.
