Has anyone else considered that by bringing the cheating allegation into the public forums is a form of harassment, and it could seen as a breach of 3(c) of the TOS?

If anyone is going to accuse anyone of cheating, they have to hold what they believe is proof. Even Cludi had to have proof before he could accuse - and he may have been wrong in some instances (imagine that, folks!!)
Yes, only Cludi knows for sure if he cheated - and is unlikely to admit it if he did. He's not a god, he's just another bloke that plays chess. He posts his accusations and opinions on his internet blag where they aren't moderated and he has control over what is published there. (I won't bother adding the URL for his blag as anyone can find it advertised on RHP)
Maybe the forums weren't the best place to raise the issue, but when everything that was put in place to deal with such events is taken away and all that's left is silence - it was the only option to try and get things moving. People were asking why the 2007 hadn't been awarded way before all this hit the forums - and no answer was given.

I'm starting to get fed up with this now. It's impossible to follow the events as they unfolded because important posts have been deleted.
So, all you engine users out there - see what you do to a site? Stop using engines or go and play with a computer game - or yourself. 😛

Actually the 2007 championship was rewarded to Cludi here:

I remember because I wrote him a congatulations note. Why it haven't shown up on his profile I don't know.

Sasquatch672 wrote "I do know that attacking a person's integrity and honor without proof is shameful".

That is exactly what he has done to me in a series of vicious posts. He admits that he doesn't know me (or cludi, or English Tal, or anyone else involved in the episode), yet he has decided that my only motive for reporting cludi as a possible engine user, is one of jealousy, quote "because you didn't win". Apparently I couldn't accept the fact that a better player had won the 2007 Championship and hatched a dastardly plan to get my revenge. I can only assume that he came up with this theory from reading cludi's Blog site and unquestionably accepting everything he says. Up to now I haven't bothered to challenge it, because it is so ridiculous. Cludi is completely wrong. I reported him to the authorities because I had very strong evidence which suggested he might have used an engine. I didn’t want to report him. Cludi was a friend, for whom I had a great deal of admiration and respect. I analysed some of his games from the 2007 Championship because I was impressed with the strength of his moves. When I saw the results of this analysis, I was horrified, because the engine matches were far higher than I expected. So I analysed several more games with similar results. At this point I reluctantly reported him. Why did I do this? Because it was the right thing to do.

Another allegation bandied about by cludi and his supporters and sasquatch, is that I started a “whispering campaign” against cludi, in order to either get him banned or force him to leave the site. I’m afraid that the whispering started the moment that Russ closed down the Game Mods and removed their names from the volunteers section of the site map. Of course people are going to speculate amongst themselves and ask questions, such as “why were the Game Mods sacked? Has one of them been caught cheating?” Then a lot of people noticed that the 2007 Championship, which ended in the middle of January, had still not been awarded to the winner, cludi. Other tournaments which finished subsequently have been awarded to their winners, so why not the 2007 Championship, which was the biggest and most prestigious of them all? (it still hasn’t been awarded). Knowing these two facts, that the Game Mods had been suspended and that cludi had not been awarded his brilliant win in the site championship, made everyone who thought about it guess correctly that it was something to do with cludi.

I regret making a couple of careless accusations about cludi, which I should not have posted. I shouldn’t have made the quip about “helping police with their enquiries”. I apologise to cludi for that. My only excuse is that I was provoked by cludi’s earlier posts in the same thread in which he said “I still do investigations and I report to the site admins when I think I've spotted an engine user”. At the time, this struck me as being highly hypocritical. But I shouldn’t have reacted. Cludi has always been an excellent Games Mod, and he is perfectly entitled to investigate other players whilst being investigated himself. Perhaps he has even taken the trouble to investigate his accusers? On his Blog site he mentions two players from the 2007 Championship that he analysed who had higher engine matches than he did. I wonder when we will find out who they are?

I think you do.
I find it somewhat disturbing that you would take an interest in the manner in which another man pees.

You're a pedophile aren't you?

You don't know much that's for sure. However, that has never stopped you before from giving your ill-informed opinions. Why should anything change?

I should imagine it automatically went on that list because the site will be programmed that way. I doubt Russ or Chris sit and manually add all wins to the various lists. English Tal was the first person to congratulate Cludi on it, and then posted his own tactics in Cludi's blag.

What I actually meant in my post was that no relevant person has said he has won the 2007, and that it was questioned as to why it has not been added to his profile as a win.

Paedophiles have a sexual interest in children. Are you a child? If not, then I guess you meant to say homosexual. There is a vast difference! 😲

This is what Russ said about it in Thread 88683, page 7:

"This is actually because of a bug. Tournaments winners are declared automatically - but I have been forced to update a few tournament victors manually recently.

Tournament 1021 and 1922, for example, have both been awarded after recent feedback about this issue.

-Russ"

Well I was going to say homosexual but Sasquatch probably would have taken that as a compliment and that would have defeated the purpose.

It was a reply to this:
