but I think the site is overloaded as it is not opening properly...
Originally posted by robbie carrobieI'm watching it on the beta version of Infinity Chess (Windows systems only). Not that this software is any better than others, but I just wanted to try it out. There was text commentary by Arno Nickel (his handle is ciron), but he's just announced that he has a migraine and has to stop his commentary. But the moves will continue. (The software is a large file size - 138 MB.)

Once installed, you can log on as a guest if you don't want to register.

Originally posted by robbie carrobieHope you like the software. It looks promising, but it does lack a few features that I miss. (It has a look and feel very similar to the Playchess GUI.) The one thing that bugs me about the WC broadcast is that Arno will periodically run through a series of moves to try out a possible variation that a player might play - Yet it doesn't register as a variation, so you don't know whether it's a real move or not. 😕 (Also, I don't think the clocks are accurate at all for the broadcast.)
thanks rook, ill down load and watch, hopefully commentary will resume at some point, i wish i had pictures - regards Robert.
Edit - Ah, it looks like ciron has started his commentary again.
it seems I was right, black is now a calear pawn up and has more activity, but white has drawing chances with the opposite colour bishops...
Even I was liking Anand more in this game because he was more brave, it would be nice to have a Kramnik win today as black...Go Kramnik, we do not like draws
