no I don't have to. I never said I totally understand anything from the games. I certainly don't. I'm just not fond of people complaining about high level positional chess being boring. I at least know there is a very strong fight going on in every single game, no matter if they are not tactical or end up with a "dead" draw.
Originally posted by schakuhrTaking into account Anand`s unstable psychics I would not exclude possibility of second loss. And if he will lose second time Then I`m for 100% sure that he will lose also third (as he will be demoralized and will have Black).
too bad this didn't happen 2 games ago. Or last game. Anand will draw the next game anyway. But at least we don't have a premature end or a lopsided match.
Originally posted by tomtom232I don't remember saying anything like that. Maybe I could have described it "intimitading" or something, but not boring.

Originally posted by KorchIn fact I thought that there were some white openings which led to almost sure draws. If I was Anand I probably would try for one of these...

Also its well known that playing "only for draw" (e.g. too safe, passive) decreases chances to get it. As Karpov have mentioned once "draw need to be conquered". The best method for making draw is playing as usually, but in some moments (when its possible to force draw or to make your opponent dilemma - draw or bad position) remembering that you have enough with draw.
Originally posted by JusuhI suspect fowls play. Chickens playing tag, ducks playing hide-and-seek. It's possible. And is bribedal even a word?
I suspect fouls play. Anand might be under some bribedual forces of Russian govermental bodies.
Anyway, I've been impressed by the professional and respectable atmosphere of this match, even though it's much too short in length. Much nicer than the toiletgate affair of the recent past.
Originally posted by Mad Rookme too, and it seems it's even more than professional, if you follow chessvibes' videos you could see the two shortly discussing the game over the board right after it ends.
