Not yet. Anand needs at least one more draw in the next three games to retain the title.
Doesn't he retain with a tied match?

too bad this didn't happen 2 games ago. Or last game. Anand will draw the next game anyway. But at least we don't have a premature end or a lopsided match.

I at least know there is a very strong fight going on in every single game, no matter if they are not tactical or end up with a "dead" draw.
I remember not too long ago you claimed that all positional chess was boring. Either way, the point is that you shouldn't make disparaging comments toward others simply because you are annoyed at something especially when you yourself cannot do any better at what you are criticizing them for.

Taking into account Anand`s unstable psychics I would not exclude possibility of second loss. And if he will lose second time Then I`m for 100% sure that he will lose also third (as he will be demoralized and will have Black).

I don't remember saying anything like that. Maybe I could have described it "intimitading" or something, but not boring.

I suspect fouls play. Anand might be under some bribedual forces of Russian govermental bodies.

In fact I thought that there were some white openings which led to almost sure draws. If I was Anand I probably would try for one of these...

In my opinion there are no openings "which led to almost sure draws".

Also its well known that playing "only for draw" (e.g. too safe, passive) decreases chances to get it. As Karpov have mentioned once "draw need to be conquered". The best method for making draw is playing as usually, but in some moments (when its possible to force draw or to make your opponent dilemma - draw or bad position) remembering that you have enough with draw.

I suspect fowls play. Chickens playing tag, ducks playing hide-and-seek. It's possible. And is bribedal even a word?

Anyway, I've been impressed by the professional and respectable atmosphere of this match, even though it's much too short in length. Much nicer than the toiletgate affair of the recent past.

me too, and it seems it's even more than professional, if you follow chessvibes' videos you could see the two shortly discussing the game over the board right after it ends.
