You can believe in any god you wish . But arbitrarily assigning things which have no discernable cause to your or any other god is the classic definition of the "god of the gaps" and is just plain ignorant . But I am sure you already know that .

How do you justify 'your' truth claim that God exists?

Your approach seems to be:

A. God exists.
B. Nothing we believe or disbelieve changes the fact that God exists.

Small problem. You haven't substantiated point A. (Which could just as easily be 'God doesn't exist' ).

I can give you reasons, but realize in the absolute truth thread the only thing I was arguing for was truth is always absolute.

You make assertions here; you have called me a liar that is an assertion, so that wasn't true. You have said my statements have no basis in reality while claiming you have no knowledge. That begs the question how do you know what is not valid if you have no idea what the truth is? So you assert and claim you do not know, all the while you claim to know when the truth is not being spoken. I'm not sure you know what truth is, you seem to be in conflict with yourself more than me.

I have to be open to the possibility God doesn't exist, can you be open to the possibility that He does? I think it would be very difficult to prove something against what we believe we know to be true. So any change of mind by anyone is something.

The science is readily available on the web to anyone who wants to see that evolution is science and valid .
