And now I know his version of events:
"The 28 years I mention do not include my childhood years."
I also know you two aren't the same person... because if you were you would be able to keep your stories straight.

I think I did answer, actually. And it's no secret that I was raised in a Christian family. I have spoken about it here countless times. The '28 years of being a Christian' that I mention do not include my childhood years.
And if it's no secret and you've talked about it so much then why is divegeester just now learning about this? The more you two jokers talk (about anything) the deeper you dig yourselves into a hole.

Originally posted by FMFYour answer suggests you may have grown up in a Christian household, but no one necessarily has to be from a Christian home in order to attend a Christian school. So I saw that answer as you dancing around the question "were you raised in a Christian home". I also asked if your parents were Christians and you did not even attempt to answer that question.

Maybe direct answers to direct questions would have been the better way to go. Unless you really were dancing around those questions and had no intention of answering them....
...You weren't a Christian until you were 16 and you were a Christian for 28 years but that doesn't include the Christian years prior to when you were 16 so if we include those Christian years before you were 16 and add them to the 28 years...

FMF: [1] Catholic.
lemon lime: 2) how old you were when you became a Christian
FMF: [2] When I count the 28 years, I do so from about the age of 16 because it was from then on that I can say that it was my own decision to profess the belief ~ I don't count the 'Christian years' prior to that i.e. childhood.
lemon lime: 3) were you raised in a Christian home... in other words, were your parents Christians?
FMF: [3] Yes. I went to Christian schools. I was still a Christian many years later and after I'd started my own family.
In which of those responses to your three questions do you believe I demonstrated that I "had no intention of answering them"?
Originally posted by FMFOh good grief, then why didn't you just say so? Your answer is yes "now", but it wasn't a yes "then". You are the one who found and printed what you actually said... so where do you see yourself answering yes or no questions with yes or no answers?
You asked "Were you raised in a Christian home... in other words, were your parents Christians?"
My answer was Yes.

Originally posted by lemon limeYes as I have explained many times over the years, the "28 years" is a calculation of my time as an adult Christian. I am not convinced that time spent as a Muslim child, a Jewish child, or a Christian child being brought up as a Christian by Christian parents is especially relevant to middle aged people talking about their religious beliefs. This also pre-empts people coming out with the old chestnut that goes ...just because someone grows up in a Christian household, it doesn't mean they were Christians...

I didn't ask if you went to Christian schools. Saying "Yes" to Christian schools is meaningless because I was asking about something else. Either you are severely confused or you've been entertaining yourself by jerking me around tonight.
And if you look closely at your answer it appears you are including the time prior to you being 16... you went to Christian schools...were still a Christian many years later.
CP was right, you are not a honey bee. But I think you may have some bees in your bonnet.

So what you know about me from my answer is that: I was raised in a Christian home; my parents were Christians; I went to Christian schools; and I was still a Christian many years later and after I'd started my own family. I could not have been more open and forthright.
