Jesus loves you. Let me preface my comments by saying this first.
Jesus does love you.
Now let's look at your comment.
Christ has not returned to judge people and yet you claim to have eternal life,
The Apostle John tells us WHY he is writing something to us. I believe that he writes under the divine inspiration of the ...[text shortened]... (Collected Works of Watchman Nee, The (Set 1) Vol. 05: The Christian (3), Chapter 2, Section 16)
Christ will decide who has done good and will be resurrected for eternal life, and who has done evil to be resurrected for eternal damnation .. not you.
Notice that Rajk999 did not answer the questions.
Notice that this Rajk999 cannot rebuke his way out of the Apostle John's encouragement to Christians that " you may know that you have eternal life, to you who believe into the name of the Son of God."
This promise in the word of God he suggests is a false teaching. Or I'm accused of being a false teacher for believing it and teaching it.

A promise is something that you DO NOT HAVE AS YET.
You wait until Christ returns, THEN ONLY THEN you get eternal life IF and ONLY IF you qualify according to this basic rule that Christ repeated a zillion times
You do good - eternal life
You do evil - eternal damnation.
Right now all you have is a promise.

Sure he will....He just throws Hebrews 6:4-6 at any question.
Pardon my callousness but he is 6 short of a dozen. He can't answer a direct question.
He needs prayer, he is in a mental prison.
But by far the saddest thing about you is that you want Jesus to give you eternal life but then you say that his doctrine is not applicable to you.

Not even Paul has eternal life yet : All Christians will be judged and given eternal life [if Christ is so inclined] when Christ returns.

Jesus gives us that hope, but you must understand what our hope is before you can receive it.
You should meditate on these scriptures....
Eph 1:15-21
Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

on they are not going to receive from Him what He promises them when they complete this
life's walk together?

It seems strange to me that if someone turns their life over to Christ and walks with Him
the rest of their time here, you don't count that time as part of eternity, they begun walk
with Him in this life time.
Eternity starts when Christ returns and the believer is judged and given eternal life. But you are free to think what you want. The facts do not change :-
- We live in this fleshly body in the HOPE of eternal life.
- We exercise PATIENCE and HUMBLY wait for the return of Christ.
- In the meantime we live Christlike lives as Christ said the Christian should live.
- When Christ returns He judges the follower - IF the Christian has done GOOD, THEN eternal life is granted. IF the believer has done evil then eternal damnation is the reward.
