If I were an American I would vote Trump. I dont like the man, he is a damn fool but he is better than that Biden and Harris pair. Biden appears to be a brain dead old man incapable of running anything so the onus will be on Harris if the Democrats win. The Democrats lean toward socialism and government control. Harris has said in plain English that she plans to do the foll ...[text shortened]... n well with the average American. I suspect they will still vote Trump despite his unpopularity.

Congratulations. Your answer puts you firmly in the dumbest 45% of America camp. You know, Trump voters. Thanks for your frank admission. I wouldn't have guessed this coming from you, at least I wouldn't have before your stupid posts in the "Spare the rod, spoil the child" thread. Now I'm convinced the time spent reading your posts isn't worth the electrons.

@suzianne saidYet you still read it. Obviously you enjoy reading my posts. And Trump is going to win. You have him for another 4 yrs.

Also it is your Democrat party that removed God, Jesus Christ and the bible from schools, and US Govt and Constitution. That party runs contrary to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Your support of that party shows that you are not a supporter of Christianity even though your words profess that you are.

@wolfgang59 saidTry seeing further than your nose.
Yeah. Being encouraged to eat less meat is far more dangerous than Trump's deeds which vivify listed.
@divegeester saidOk. Just saw it.
Don’t worry about it; (suzianne and a couple of others) will appreciate the reference.
See the RJHinds thread.
@suzianne saidThere are presumably numerous Christians who, while not approving of Trump's character and behaviour ~ including his lies, which they perhaps do not "swallow" ~ who would see voting for him as being the best or only chance of seeing nominations to SCOTUS that would one day result in Roe v Wade overturned ~ which many Christians in the U.S. would dearly like to see because of their Christian "pro-life" viewpoint on abortion.
If I had swallowed all the Trump lies, I would probably vote for him, too.

@suzianne saidI've thought about this. At some point, it doesn't matter if it's "all" Christians or not. The vast majority of Christians, made up of mostly conservatives, support Trump.
Please. Certainly not all Christians.
The main problem? Too few Christians stand up against the racism, lies and despotism of Trump, while watching the rest of their brothers and sisters in Christ do the exact opposite of everything Jesus is supposed to stand for.
The KKK should have absolutely no right to claim Christianity as their religion, but there's barely any push-back from other Christians. The Westboro Baptist Church shouldn't be allowed to continue, but there's barely any resistance from Christians apart from some online posts.
Jesus never fought against unbelievers in the faith, it was the religious people who were his enemies; Jesus never ceased to criticize their hypocrisy, or their greed like when he flipped over the money-changers table. Jesus actively fought the evil *within* those who called themselves believers. Christians don't do that, and I can't respect Christians because of it. That was my problem back when I was a Christian and was one of the reasons I left the faith.
Republicans don't speak out against racists in their party, and they often embrace racist, sexist authoritarians. It doesn't matter if "not all" Republicans approve of it; it's too pervasive in the GOP and too few Republicans speak out against the evil among their own kind. Therefore, I have no respect for Republicans, despite "not all" Republicans supporting or even praising Trump.
Same with Christians.

@vivify saidAs referenced earlier in this thread, Jesus said let he who is without sin cast the first stone. The judgment is up to Christ. Al churches can and should do in the case where there is sin and evil creeping into their churches, is to disfellowship those people as Paul suggested. The condemnation and judgment is up to Christ.

Your hypocrisy is here; "Jesus actively fought the evil *within* those who called themselves believers. Christians don't do that, and I can't respect Christians because of it. That was my problem back when I was a Christian and was one of the reasons I left the faith."
Why didn't you do what you blame others for not doing since you appear so astute concerning the hypocrisy of some in the church?
You quit, and threw the baby out with the bath water. Get the beam out of your eye.
The democrat party is the hypocrite party. The party of the blind leading the blind.
@divegeester saidI doubt that.

So does he. (Remember, he lies.)
That you believe the lies of the Republican Party (including that they are the party of God) shows exactly what I was just talking about. You're just full of nonsense. I am a better Christian than the majority of Republicans. They are "Christians in Name Only". They are exactly the ones Jesus will say "I never knew you". They have no love for God, and they certainly have no love for their neighbor.
And God was never in the Constitution or the US Government. Since schools are run by the state, God has no place there, either, because of the Constitution. Remember Luke 20:25. This is the foundation of why the US has a separation of church and state. We are not a theocracy. God belongs in our hearts, not our government.
