@Ghost-of-a-Duke

Of course, Witness Lee would add:

Man is God.

You're the Athiest believing that man is the measure of all things.

Man is God is more likely to come out of your Humanist / Atheist mouth.

The Scripture says the mystery of godliness is God manifest in the flesh. (1 Tim. 3:16)

What you got in terms of theological education was something like a measles shot. They gave you just enough Christian thought to render you immune to any more.

I bet none of your classes ever told you that godliness is He who was manifested in the flesh.

.. that you may know how one ought to conduct himself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and base of the truth.

And confessedly, great is the mystery of godliness:
He who was manifested in the flesh,
Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Preached among the nations,
Believed on in the world,
taken up in glory." ( 1 Tim. 3:16,17)

This is the story of Christ and the church.
I bet you were only taught that to be born again was to receive a ticket to go to heaven.

Very wise advice... It's like speaking to a hand puppet of Satan.
You ~ a JW ~ are saying this to a 'conventional' non-JW Christian, but don't most 'conventional' non-JW Christians view speaking to JWs as being "like speaking to a hand puppet of Satan"?

Across multiple threads, you have accused me of putting words in people's mouths, when in reality you have simply failed to follow a thread and missed the fact that I am responding directly to what people have said. (With their own words).
You did put words in another's mouth, a quote from those that said something was would have been fitting.

I won't go there either; Satan has the whole world in deception not just a handful of people. We are only going to be free of him in Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. It is to easy to take shots at others; none of us are without sin.

The "there", in this case, is that galveston75 believes that your "Trinity" theology is "Satanic".

I'm sure he understands that. But I'm sure he knows I mean no insults or ill will at all towards him personally. He is a good guy and a friend.
Perhaps you are just trying to stir the pot as usual? No doubt.

There is no more visceral or raw a personal insult and condemnation that one Christian can utter to another than to declare the other's beliefs to be "Satanic". There is, quite simply, literally, nothing worse that they can say.

The way that beliefs so often distort religious people's intellectual and interpersonal behaviour is ~ to my way of thinking ~ fascinating, as is drawing attention to it ~ and seeing the reaction.

No Sonship, Timothy was excluded maliciously from my studies, by my tutors, to ensure this knowledge was never imparted to me.

😵

And if my studies did indeed give me measles, then your indoctrination by Witness Lee has given you brain freeze.

You do seem to want to make this about anything but the subject at hand. I can see this is upsetting you since now all you are doing is running me down. I'll leave you to it until you can actually have a discussion without going personal.

Why are you deflecting with comments about Ghost of a Duke's motivation instead of just dealing with the substance of what he is saying?

If it doesn't matter to you that a fellow follower of Christ condemns your beliefs as "Satanic", why on earth would you think it matters to atheists if you call their beliefs "Satanic"? If it's meaningless banter between you and other Christians, isn't it just meaningless banter when you say it to non-Christians?
