I share the view that the 'Mark' is coming, and coming fast.

'Chipping'? I'm not so sure on this, it could be as KJ said, just a tattoo that, in the future, could be made with imbedded electronics that make it act like a computer chip. Kind of like a 'barcode on steroids'. But right now, with available technology, a computer chip seems likely. OTOH, though, technology is improving all the time, so it's hard to predict the ultimate form of the 'Mark'.

Isn't it more likely to have been some concern or preoccupation or beef that early Christians had with the Romans and the way the Roman Empire was being run at the time Revelation was written?

No, it doesn't. I wasn't trying to answer your question. Firstly, I find your 'questioning technique' to be barely camouflaged insults, and secondly, I found this particular question to be ridiculously badly-worded. But then, it wasn't really a question meant to be answered, was it? All your 'questions' exist on their own 'merit', requiring no answer because they couch your opinion in cheap clothing. As such, your opinion carries even less weight than RJH's, since they're basically the same type of thrusting opinions out in people's faces, with little to no reason to support them, only he doesn't assume to fool people by putting his in the form of a question. So you will pardon me if I treat ALL your questions as rhetorical. I only interjected this time because you were unfairly characterizing KellyJay.

And btw, you can spare me your 'good intentions'.
