Now that Eladar's words tread directly on the toes of your vanity, you find it in you to confront him. But when it was a matter of principle [and walking the walk in relation to your thread topic], you had no such gumption.

Whatever you think about my thread there is secondary.
You should learn not to bear false witness.

Eladar,

Where did I give the impression that Racism was so unique a sin that it constitutes a "one way ticket to hell" ?

So unique? Any lifestyle choice that is in opposition to God's truth is a ticket to hell.

If one holds on to it unto death, it is death.

Prrhaps a different question for you, are there sins that if one embraces and lives unto death leads to hell?

Hold on, why don't you tell us why you think racists are not going to 'hell'?

Racism is not listed as a sin. Jesus was a racist. He called a woman a dog because she was not Jewish.

Racism in itself must not be sinful.

It is sinful to modern culture but God doesn't care about that.

Racism is putting one above another based upon race. The woman you were referring too
due to her faith ended up getting exactly what she came to Jesus for. The fact that God
used a race to bring Christ into the world is NOT an endorsement of racism, it only shows
us that God keeps His promises.

In scripture we are told that that all the things we used to divide ourselves no longer
matter, in Christ we are all the same. God entered the human race by selecting a man
and creating a race through Him, so through that race, He would make promises, and
in that race Jesus came. So now those things that once divided us are done away in
Christ.

Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Wow so you think that one verse justifies racism? 🙄 Jesus was testing the woman's faith he was in no way condoning racism. Do you think you are allowed to do everything that Jesus did even if you don't understand the reason why He did it?

Find one verse that directly condemns it.

No quote. Racism does not equal unloving.

Christ said that He would build His church (Matt.16:18) and that the gates of Hades would not prevail against it. This is a prophecy that cannot fail to materialize. This is prophecy to be fulfilled as sure as the prediction of His second coming is assured.

Some in this last age will overcome to be built up as the church. And one of the things which obstructs that is sectarian divisions of a racial nature. That is why the master builder Paul said that in the "new man" there "cannot be" schisms because of racial animosity.

The schisms must be replaced by Christ being all and in all in city after city where the church as the one new man is being carried out.

In contrast to walking by the Spirit and enjoying Christ as all and in all there is the works of the flesh. And the works of the flesh include all kinds of divisive schism making including those along feelings of racial superiority and inferiority.

" Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are such things as
fornication,
uncleaness,
lasciviosness,
idolatry,
sorcery,

enmities,
strife,
jealousy,
outbursts of anger,
factions,
divisions,
sects,

envyings,
bouts of drunkeness,
carousings,
and things like these,

of which I tell you beforehand, even as I have said before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God." (Gal. 5:19-21)

Christians chronically defeated by such works of the flesh will not inherit the reward of the coming millennial kingdom.

Where you have racialism or racism in the church of Christ you will have "factions".
Where racism is rampant among Christians you will have "divisions, sects" and often "outbursts of anger" and "idolatry" in worship of skin color, national arrogance.

Unless you are super dull the Christian should understand that "things like these" means your Christian conscience should recognize when something is not of the Holy Spirit but of the fallen flesh.

You see yourself as a loving racist? This has to be the joke of the century.
