@kellyjay saidAnother slab of generic faith speak. I appreciate your personal testimony and I thank you for taking the time to type it out. However, I asked a specific question that goes to the very heart of what we are discussing. If, say, between 2024 and 2028 you gradually lost your faith, would that then apply retrospectively and mean you were not a believer in Christ in 2022?
Listen, I have had struggles in faith; I walked away once with my eyes wide open to what I was doing. I went through a divorce I was shattered. I felt unworthy; I didn't want to be reminded that something in my life was off. I didn't go back to the world I lived in before; I started playing board games with some friends. Personal computers just started hitting the market; we ...[text shortened]... id, but I still walked away. My only redeeming hope isn't in my abilities but Christ's faithfulness.
@pb1022 saidI gave you the KJV of Timothy you requested. Do those words not worry you? I would concern myself, if I were you, with how God manifests himself in you, rather than others. Why are you denigrating the Holy Spirit inside of you, if it does indeed reside there? I mean, seriously?
How did you communicate with God?
How did the relationship you had with God manifest itself?
Prayer and reading God’s Word is tawdry to you? Was it tawdry to you back when you believed in God?

@ghost-of-a-duke saidThose are legitimate questions.

I understand why FMF doesn’t want to answer them, but that doesn’t mean they’re not legitimate questions.
Thank you for the citations.

@pb1022 saidAre you going to address those legitimate questions, as they relate to you? (Or just highlight somebody else not answering them? )

I freely admit I can post here in an antagonistic manner. But then, I don't have the Holy Spirit inside of me. How is it you can match me in such antagonistic posting and yet still claim to have been transformed inside by the Holy Spirit (or however you choose to word it? )

@fmf saidThe man is in a relationship with the church. The is nothing in the bible called a relationship with God. There is faith and there is works. The church told the man faith alone and a relationship with God is enough for going to heaven. That is false. This going to heaven business is also false. He lives for the church like the fool described by Christ. The wise man keeps the commandments and get eternal life but the church condemns people who do that.
Make of it what you will.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidSure, I spend anywhere from one to three hours a day handwriting the Holy Bible, I recite Scripture I’ve memorized frequently on a daily basis, I listen to sermons a few times a week, and I pray every day, usually more than once a day.

And if I seem antagonistic, it’s because I don’t believe FMF is sincere in asking these questions and I resent his false accusations against me.

@rajk999 saidSo you don’t pray either?

@fmf saidYou have but I’m not going to repeat your obscenities and vulgarity.
I haven't made any false accusations against you. I have simply reminded you of how you behaved in 2018.
And I note you still haven’t answered how your relationship with God through Jesus Christ manifested itself.
@pb1022 saidYou spend a lot of time talking about yourself.

You are a boaster and in love with yourself.
You boast of things which you do no have
You are in love with your church
You keep the doctrine of the church
You sound like this man
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. ...... for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. (Luke 18:11-14 KJV)
Your doctrine bears little resemblance to the doctrine of Christ.

Unlike you, I answer questions that are asked of me.

@pb1022 saidWhy doesn't the Holy Spirit inside of you guide you to this verse:
