I think you will find beauroberts has little interest in your religion's direction anymore. His sad experience of your loving congregation and yours and roigam's behaviour in this thread has been an excellent example of the unpleasant nature of the Jehovah's Witness religion.

If they did try to split up beauroberts' family by getting his wife to move out and taking his children away from him, do you think the elders involved should have been disfellowshipped for their actions for any of the reasons laid out in your long copy paste above?
Perhaps there is more to this then is being spoken? Only he knows.....
So you can stop asking me the same question over and over as just like you, I do not know the facts.
Originally posted by galveston75But beauroberts has explained what happened to him and his wife. The fact that you personally have not come across action by elders of this kind before is completely irrelevant. The fact that you haven't personally known, for instance, a JW member who sexually abused children while being a member of the organisation does not mean that such cases of abuse have never happened. What you would ~ or would not ~ "bet your life on" is not relevant. If the facts of the case are that the elders did what beauroberts described them as doing, ought they to be disfellowshipped, in your view?

If no discipline action is taken against the elders, that would show the decision they made would not have been an incorrect one and in agreement with God's laws in the Bible.
Also beauroberts could rightfully had asked to be heard by another group of elders from another local congregation if he felt the elders were wrong with him and his family and what he says they did.
If that did not resolve the issues for him he could have even asked to be heard by the Circuit Overseer of that part of the state and report the wrong judgements placed upon him by those elders.
Hs he done any of that?

Originally posted by galveston75Interesting comment; from his first post in this forum I have repeatedly extended a warm welcome to beauroberts, I have chatted genially with him in games, wished him my best for his surgery and during this time of great difficulty for himself his wife and his family I have done the same thing in private, while publically defending him in this forum from the likes of you, roigam and your nasty religion generally. I've provided heartfelt moral support, practical advice and reading and generally been an online friend to him.

What have you done? Except ignore the man, accuse him of dishonestly and post the occiasional sneering "Lol".

Maybe he has just thought: 'good riddance'.
Originally posted by galveston75What power or authority would the group of elders from another local congregation have over his own congregation's elders? Wouldn't they simply react by immediately calling into question beauroberts' integrity as both you and roigam have done on this forum? You, for instance, having heard him explain what happened said you'd "literally bet [your] life" it wasn't true. If you were a neighbouring congregation's elder, what would be the point of calling someone like you in? Can you cite any examples of a group of elders from one local congregation overriding the decisions of another congregation?
