@kellyjay saidThe bible has nothing called 'God the Son'. This habit of the church to twist scripture has led to countless false doctrines.
I believe in God, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit and these three are one in complete harmony with each other. So if One of them says or does anything it will be in complete agreement with the each other. Jesus said He and the Father were One, again in complete harmony, you see Jesus you see the Father.
You reject that? You think that if the Holy Spir ...[text shortened]... not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
Jesus was one with God.
Jesus was one with the disciples
Are the disciples also God ?
Are the disciples Jesus?
Jesus said his Father is greater.
Paul said the Father is the head of Jesus.
You continue to choose the doctrine of the church over the doctrine of Christ.

@rajk999 saidYou think we are righteous without Jesus Christ as our savior?
Jesus never said anything about this doctrine which you constantly repeat:
.. how are we made righteous, on our own without Christ because He isn't necessary, or with Christ?
This is a false doctrine designed by your church to elevate themselves.
@kellyjay saidI dont know anyone who walks around thinking they are righteous, except maybe church people. According to Christ, people go about their daily lives either helping others or not helping others, and for Christ, this is the key determinant of who they are either sheep or goats.

@rajk999 saidYou contradict yourself all the time!

Did you “abide in Jesus” thinkofone?
While Jesus was on earth he claimed that he was sent by God, were those “words” of his correct!
Oh remember now Divegeester your humble "live and let live" posting in the Spirituality Forum.
I’m not preaching, teaching, lecturing of otherwise directing other Christians in how they should apply the words of Christ to their spiritual lives.
@sonship saidI’ve never said those words in quotes. I’ve asked you recently to stop attributing “quotes” to me that I haven’t said.

It’s dishonest sonship.

@chaney3 saidMy son had that highlighted in a bible at his feet when the cops found him hanging by his neck in his closet for two weeks.
Whoever "believes" in Him.....
Belief involves action. A person's words and actions reflect whether or not they are a Christian, and actually make the effort to follow the teachings and example of Jesus.
Or......is there a different interpretation of what "belief" means?

But you can carry on quoting me out of context if it makes your wounded pride feel soothed.

IF you mean you never said "live and let live", that is correct. But you are real sensative about being misunderstood. But not at all when you imply that I said "city of water" was in the TEXT of the Bible as a [your words] someone should come forward to ... "scripturally recognize the title".
Real sensitive to not be misunderstood yourself.
Far, far less sensitive when giving the impression that sonship said something that I DIDN'T.
6 days and not one other Christian has come forward to scripturally recognise the title of “city of water” and that they do indeed “praise God for it”.
While you stupidity count days for someone to confirm "city of water" is in the TEXT of the Bible which I NEVER insistied that it was. You're a hypocrite.

@sonship saidWell those were the words which you put into quotation marks and which I never said, so yes stop misbehaving.
@divegeester
IF you mean you never said "live and let live", that is correct.
@sonship saidSo to clarify, you put "live and let live" in quotation marks even though Dive never used those words, and yet complained when I did the same thing to "Satanic Christian"?

Who's the hypocrite again?!
@kquinn909 saidNot sure what you are trying to say.
My son had that highlighted in a bible at his feet when the cops found him hanging by his neck in his closet for two weeks.
How is the apparent suicide connected to the highlighted bible verse?
@kquinn909 saidWhat is your point?
My son had that highlighted in a bible at his feet when the cops found him hanging by his neck in his closet for two weeks.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidI agree
I suspect a failed attempt at dark humour.
I would also add I hope it is the death of a child isn’t something I would wish on anyone.
