“What is true as I have been saying is not dependent on me, do you think it is dependent upon you?”

When have I said anything like truth is dependent on me?

“If you agree that there is truth, reality, unmarred by falsehood and we are searching for it in all of our ologies why would the meta-narrative be untrue, all truth would always fit in harmony with truth everywhere else correct?”

Huh? Really, that’s gobbledygook. Or it’s a simple tautology: what you call the “meta-narrative,” you also define as “the truth”: “meta-narrative” = “the truth” – whether we can know what it is or not.

The implications are important not I had a thought.
The "implications" of what?

The meta-narrative has to be the truth; it could be nothing else. The reality of
all things are the truth of them, which means there is a cohesive truth that runs from
beginning to end throughout all things. If not, do you think there are parts of
reality that are true that are in direct contradiction with other parts of reality, some
places, for example, where two different places can both be hotter than the other
at the same time? If reality has a variety of truths in it that are not all in harmony
with one another, can you describe some parts where that could be true?

We can but speculate about these things.

Okay, you clearly don't understand anything I've said. And you have your own personal definition of meta-narrative. Fine.

You do grasp my meaning, even if you don't agree with how I am defining the
word. There is an all-encompassing truth, and when we don't line up with it, we are
in error?

If nobody "knows" what "the all-encompassing truth" is, then all they can do is "line up with" their personal opinion about what it is. Whether they are "in error" would also be a matter of their personal opinion.

Not really; the thing about truth is it has a particular property unique from
everything else, it is or isn't.

We can only speculate about it ~ what it is or isn't - in this context. The product of this speculation is opinion.

That is you; you cannot know; you can only speculate forever learning, never
coming to knowledge, you should spend a little time working with truth tables.

Neither of us "knows". We only have theories, faith, opinions, conjecture, aspirations etc.

Speak for yourself, just know, that is all you will ever really do.

All either of us is doing is sharing our subjective opinions. You "know" whatever you claim to "know" in the same way as my Muslim neighbours "know" what they claim to "know" and so on and so forth.

What are the consequences for me of you "speaking for yourself"?
