How do you account for that fact that most of the Christians in this community ~ for all intents and purposes ~ just seem to ignore you, ignore a huge proportion of what you say, and, for the most part, decline to debate and discuss things with you?
I am too busy trying to account for your wishful thinking that you know what all the fellow believers here are thinking.
Being seemingly ignored (as no reply) sometimes means "I'm thinking about it."
Besides, I am a super winner even it one person takes their Bible down off the shelf, dusts it off, and goes with interest to SEE what is in this wonderful book anyway.
I'm overjoyed if I generate some hunger or enthusiasm to read the word of God.
But if it gives you some warm fuzzy to imagine me as totally ignored by Christians, let your imagination fly.
@sonship saidWhat if your writings here push people further away from God. Are you still winning?

Well Ghost of a Duke, I would say that probably you should just speak for YOURSELF.
Did you ever notice Isaiah 53 the prophet says in essence "WHO ?? WHO has believed our report ?"
In other words he kept reporting what he had from the Lord even though there was NOTHING but disbelief at what they heard him announce.
And I don't think, with humility, that is the case here.
But there IS of course, with atheists like yourself, eager unbelief ready to pounce and incentivize the Christians to shut up.
Now, let me return the question to you.
How would YOU feel that some on the fence read your stuff and say - "I may have some problems with the Christian Gospel, but I sure don't want to be like THIS guy ! "
It happens.
@sonship saidWhen Chaney was going through a period of uncertainty in this forum about his faith I told him bluntly that, being an atheist, I was not somebody he should be talking to and urged him to speak to his own pastor in 'the real world.'

I have no desire to damage anyone's faith and am only interested in conversing with people confident in their beliefs.
