What is Paul saying here to the Ephesians:
1 Prior to accepting Christ, these Christians were formerly dead in their sins in their past lives, as they were living fleshly lives of greed, fornication etc
2 Now they are baptised into Christ and are now saved from their sins by the grace of God and the death of Christ
3 It is not through any good works they did but only because of Gods mercy they are now saved.
4 If they continue to walk in love and with good works and righteousness, keeping the commandments of Christ, only then can get eternal life in the Kingdom of God.
Your crooked doctrine completely omits the 4th step and worst encourages Christians to revert to their old life of disobedience to the commandments of Christ. You have dedicated thread after thread here, to trying [in vain] to show that trying to keep the commandments are sinful and evil and are not to be kept. Any reader here has to be a complete bottom to listen to your nonsense.-

This is before and after Paul deeply experienced Jesus Christ.
Compare these two sentences readers: COMPARE:
"Now then it is no longer I that work it out but sin that dwells in me." (Romans 7:17)
" . . . it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me." (Gal. 2:20a)
Someone? What do you see as the difference between these two utterances?
I mean aside from wisecracks and lampoons.
Compare:
1.) Not I but sin that dwells within me.
2.) Not I but Christ who lives within me.

Man is by nature a VESSEL meant to contain someone in union with himself quite subjectively and inwardly.
I you dislike the thought of the Spirit of Jesus Christ coming to be one with you, understand that you ALREADY have an enemy (no friend, no Savior or Lover) that is infesting you.
Paul showed us his life before and after his coming to Christ.
"Now then it is no longer I that work it out but sin that dwells in me." (Romans 7:17).
He was infested with Satan God's sworn eternal enemy personified as sin
" . . . it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me." (Gal. 2:20a)
He could receive the Spirit of the Perfect Righteous Son of God as "life giving Spirit" and be freed from all that made his dirty, guilty, useless to God.
To those who don't want Jesus: It is far better imo to be filled with Jesus as He gently teaches you to be a son of God. It is horrible to be driven to eternal damnation via the infestation of the ruler of the fallen world - the Devil as sin in you.

Which thread of yours did you properly guide anyone on the real big questions of life?
I mean where is your much more accurate guidance on such matters as:
1.) Why do I act in a way that offends my own conscience sometimes?
2.) Who truly understands me and loves me?
3.) I am here in this universe. But WHY ? That I ever lived - WHAT does it mean?
Where did you properly then offer GUIDANCE on these bigger questions of human life? Which thread did you tackle these as to "Here's some guidance"?

Now WHERE are YOUR answers anywhere on this Forum.
I wish to COMPARE what you say I revere with your guidance.
Genesis tells me why God created man. At it tells a good deal of it.
If I am misguided to revere that man was made in the image and likeness of God and entrusted with having dominion over His creation, what is your better guidance? . . . YOURS .
Genesis and Romans guide me that something of an evil infestation entered into man called sin and is the operating of a ruler of the air, an authority rebelling against God and help bent in destroying man with death.
I OUGHT rather to revere (or appreciate) YOUR guidance explaining why I commit offenses against my better noblier desire to live rightly.
Where on the Forum can I compare to YOUR - avalanchthecat's better guidance on this issue?

The Gospel speaks of a loving Perfect man dying for me and able to impart His sin overcoming victory into me supernaturally. I've TASTED this.

C'mon avanelanch. Your stalling or being overly humble. Is that ALL you offer as guidance?
Ie. "Somebody else say something" and "Well they could be wrong."
Is that all you can say ? For awhile you told me about an endless universe that goes in and out in eternal cycles. You said matter always was I think and the universe is eternal with no beginning. Build on THAT and offer a little more of your superior guidance to that of the Bible.
If that is the universe we live in man exists in it because ___________________?
Man's conscience is violated by his own behavior many times because __________?

Folks, the questions that I have posed . . . you have to sit up and pay attention to someone who addresses them - AND performs an act that only God could do -
Rise again from the dead.
You have to listen to a person like Jesus Christ.
In fact He is one of a kind. He occupies a class of addressers to those questions alone I think. He said to the world -
"I am the resurrection and the life . . . " (See John 11:25)
You have to consider the GUIDANCE of one who speaks but also demonstrates that He is THE resurrection and THE divine and eternal life.
